An inventive medical system has a housing with a first guiding surface. A preassembled module is received in the housing. The module includes electronics electrically connected to an analytical sensor, an insertion component configured for inserting the analytical sensor into body tissue of a user and a sterility cap at least partially surrounding the insertion component. The module has a second guiding surface. A protective cap is removably connected to the housing and covers the preassembled module. The protective cap is removable from the housing by pulling the protective cap from the housing. The first guiding surface guides the protective cap during the pulling of the protective cap from the housing and the second guiding surface guides the sterility cap during pulling the sterility cap from the insertion component. The length of the first guiding surface exceeds the length of the second guiding surface.

A puncturing system has a carrier tape carrying multiple lancets, a device housing comprising a conveying facility for moving the lancets into a usage position consecutively by moving the carrier tape in a conveying direction, a puncturing drive for accelerating one of the lancets that is positioned in the usage position in a puncturing motion, an opening in the device housing for touching against a body part in which a puncture is to be made by the puncturing motion of one of the lancets, an actuation facility for driving the conveying facility, and an unlockable interlock comprising a stop that blocks further transport of the carrier tape as soon as one of the lancets has reached the usage position.

A method for producing an analytical tape, in particular a lancet tape, is proposed. The analytical tape is designed for being used in an analytical testing device with at least a sample-taking function. In the method, at least one supporting tape is provided in a continuous process. A plurality of lancet elements are successively applied directly to the supporting tape at at least one application point.

An insertion device includes an insertion needle holder and a drive mechanism for linearly moving the insertion needle holder in a puncturing direction. The insertion needle holder also includes at least one actuating element for actuating a drive mechanism. The invention relates to a system for collecting samples and to a method for collecting a liquid sample. The system comprises at least one analytical aid, the analytical aid comprising a lancet and a test element, and the test element having a test field for analysis of the liquid sample. The system for collecting samples comprises a coupling element which can be successively connected to the lancet, in a first position of the analytical aid, and to the test element, in a second position of the analytical aid. The system for collecting samples also comprises a drive unit for moving the coupling element from a rest position to a deployed position, such that the movement of the coupling element is transmitted to the lancet, coupled thereto, in order to execute a puncturing movement, or is transmitted to the test element, coupled thereto, in order to execute a sample recovery movement.

A replaceable magazine for use in an analytic test instrument a plurality of analytic aids on a carrier tape. The analytic aids can be made available in an application position of the magazine by means of the carrier tape. The magazine has a supply reel for holding regions of the carrier tape with unused analytic aids and a take-up reel for holding regions of the carrier tape with used-up analytic aids. The carrier tape can be moved in a spooling direction from the supply reel to the take-up reel. The magazine has a rewind lock of the take-up reel. The magazine has a tape release device, which is configured to make available a take-up reel tape reserve of the carrier tape on the side of the application position facing the take-up reel. The take-up reel tape reserve enables a lifting movement of an analytic aid situated in the application position.

A sampling system for collecting a liquid sample, having at least one analytic auxiliary means is proposed. The sampling system has a coupling element for coupling onto the analytic auxiliary means and at least one drive unit for driving a movement of the coupling element from a rest position into a deflected position. The drive unit comprises an energy transducer which is designed to generate a rotational movement with different rotational directions. The drive unit furthermore has a coupling device with at least one rotational-direction sensitive element, wherein the coupling device is designed to couple the energy transducer to a first system function in a first rotational direction, and to couple said transducer to a second system function which differs from the first system function in a second rotational direction which differs from the first rotational direction.

Combination drive for a sampling system for collecting a liquid sample

A gripper device for use in a lancet device for generating a sample of a body fluid. In the lancet device, a plurality of lancets can be provided in succession on a carrier element in an application position. The gripper device is equipped to seize one lancet at a time in the application position and carry out a piercing movement using the lancet. The gripper device includes at least one stop element, which is equipped to stop the lancet in the application position and temporarily prevent further movement of the carrier element. The gripper device further includes at least one positioning element, which is equipped to position the lancet during the piercing movement in a direction transverse to a piercing direction. The gripper device can further include at least one counter-gripper, which is equipped to cooperate with the stop element whereby the lancet can be held with a form fit.
