An electric drive axle, including: a first and a second drive shaft being axially aligned, an electric drive module and a differential module, wherein the electric drive module includes an electric motor and a planetary gear set, wherein both the electric motor and the planetary gear set are coaxially arranged about the drive shafts, wherein output means of the electric drive module is connected to input means of the differential module, wherein the input means is or can be set in drive connection with the drive shafts, such that a drive force generated by the electric drive module can be transferred to the first and/or second drive shaft, and a coupling between the output means and the input means, wherein the coupling is arranged to allow for the output means and the input means to slide into engagement in an axial direction.

The present invention relates to a vehicle comprising: an internal combustion engine operable to rotate a crank shaft of the internal combustion engine; a transmission; at least one driving wheel rotationally connected to the transmission; a damping system arranged between the internal combustion engine and the transmission for dampening irregularity motions of the crank shaft, the damping system comprising an output splined portion; wherein the transmission is arranged for controllably rotationally connecting the output splined portion of the damping system to provide torque from the internal combustion engine to the at least one driving wheel via the transmission, wherein the output splined portion of the damping system is adapted to mate with a splined portion of a coupling shaft of the transmission for connecting the crank shaft to the transmission via the damping system.

A dual-clutch seven speed transmission arrangement comprises a dual-clutch gearbox, a drive machine and a transfer transmission. The dual clutch gearbox comprises first and second input shafts provided with first and second input clutches. The first input shaft is provided with at least first and second gearwheels, which are arranged to host three even and one reverse drive gear, and the second input shaft is arranged to host four odd drive gears. Furthermore, the first input shaft is a hollow shaft enclosing the second input shaft. The drive machine is a flywheel and the transfer transmission meshes with the first gearwheel that also hosts a fourth drive gear of the dual clutch gearbox.

Dual-clutch seven speed transmission arrangement

A dual-clutch seven speed transmission arrangement and method for use with a transverse engine arrangement in a hybrid vehicle are provided. The dual-clutch seven speed transmission arrangement includes a dual-clutch gearbox comprising an input shaft for odd drive gears and an input shaft for even drive gears, respectively arranged in connection to a first clutch and a second clutch. The input shaft for even drive gears is a hollow shaft enclosing the input shaft for odd drive gears and the input shaft for odd drive gears is arranged to host four odd drive gears. The input shaft for even drive gears is arranged to host three even drive gears and a reverse drive gear. An electric motor is connected to the input shaft for even drive gears.
