A disclosed computer-implemented method may include (1) receiving a channel estimation signal comprising a plurality of frequency domain signals, each frequency domain signal corresponding to an antenna in a plurality of antennas, a port in a plurality of ports, and a demodulation reference signal sequence, (2) for each frequency domain signal, (A) converting the frequency domain signal to a time domain signal, and (B) determining a power level of the time domain signal, (3) determining, for each port in the plurality of ports (a) a sum of the power levels of the time domain signals corresponding to the port, each antenna in the plurality of antennas, and the DMRS sequence, and (b) based on the determined sum corresponding to the port, measuring (i) a pre-equalization signal-to-interference-plus noise ratio, and (ii) a power delay profile (PDP). Various other systems and methods are also disclosed.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems for grouping antenna elements to enhance an antenna array response resolution, are disclosed. One method includes selecting a plurality of groups of antenna elements from an antenna array, wherein each group includes a plurality of antenna elements of the antenna array, determining an optimal phase setting for a beam directed from each group to a target device, and characterizing each of the groups including adjusting a phase of an electronic signal passing through each of the antenna elements of the group based on the optimal phase setting of the group, adjusting an amplitude aof the electronic signal the passing through each of the antenna elements of the group to compensate for a loss of antenna array gain of the antenna array due to grouping of the antenna elements, and storing the adjusted phase and adjusted amplitude for each of the antenna element.
