Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating channel state information (CSI) reports. In some aspects, downlink resources can be monitored for reception of downlink signaling, a CSI report can be generated based on the reception of the downlink signaling, where the CSI report indicates CSI for each of multiple sub-bands of the downlink resources, and the CSI report can be transmitted with hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback associated with the downlink signaling to facilitate retransmission with improved block error rate (BLER). In some aspects, a base station receiving the CSI report, or otherwise based on uplink signals, can determine transmission parameters for retransmission to facilitate the improved BLER.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a UE may determine a power control adjustment based on sidelink messages received from other UEs. The UE may transmit, to the other UEs, an indication of the power control adjustment to the other UEs. The other UEs may transmit additional sidelink messages in accordance with the power control adjustment, such that power levels of the additional sidelink message satisfy a threshold. A base station may indicate a power control adjustment to one or more UEs. For example, the base station may receive power control information associated with sidelink communications between a set of UEs. The base station may transmit an indication of a power adjustment parameter for a transmit power level for sidelink messages transmitted between two UEs of the set. The value of the power adjustment parameter may be based on the received power control information.

A user equipment (UE) may perform communications between the UE and a base station based at least in part on a set of semi-persistent resource occasions. The UE may receive a downlink control information releasing the set of semi-persistent resource occasions. The UE may determine a release time to release the set of semi-persistent resource occasions, wherein the release time for releasing the set of semi-persistent resource occasions is with respect to a receive time of the downlink control information. The UE may release the set of semi-persistent resource occasions at the release time based at least in part on the downlink control information.

An apparatus for receiving wireless communication at a first UE from a first wireless device may include a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The memory and the at least one processor may be configured to receive a user grouping identifying a second UE that communicates with a second wireless device. The memory and the at least one processor may be further configured to receive a control transmission between the second UE and the second wireless device indicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and allocated resources for the second wireless device. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive signaling indicating one or more selected priorities, of at least two priorities, to which a trigger for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback applies. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) including the trigger for the HARQ feedback and omitting a field indicating the one or more selected priorities. The UE may transmit the HARQ feedback for the one or more selected priorities in accordance with the signaling. Numerous other aspects are described.

Configuration based hybrid automatic repeat request trigger

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first message indicating that a network entity, in wireless communication with the UE, is operating in a first energy saving mode of multiple energy saving modes. The UE may receive information indicating multiple sets of parameters for a radio link monitoring (RLM) operation, each of the sets of parameters being associated with a different energy saving mode. The UE may perform the RLM operation using one or more parameters of a first set of parameters (e.g., a maximum beam failure instance count parameter, one or more threshold parameters, and other parameters) associated with the first energy saving mode. The may use a second set of parameters to perform the RLM operation in response to the network entity switching from operating in the first energy saving mode to operating in the second energy saving mode.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control message that includes an indication to mute communications between the first UE and a second UE. The indication may be applicable to at least one communication link between the first UE and the second UE. The indication may include an identifier of the first UE, an identifier of the second UE, or an identifier of the at least one communication link. The first UE may receive the indication based on a power status of the first UE, a power status of the second UE, a reliability metric associated with the at least one communication link, or an interference metric associated with a network entity. Accordingly, the first UE may determine that the at least one communication link is muted for a time duration based on the indication.
