Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communication systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of uplink shared channel occasions within a configured grant period. Each uplink shared channel occasion may include a set of slots for transmitting an uplink shared channel message (e.g., repetitions of the uplink shared channel message or a transport block). The UE may transmit the uplink shared channel message in the set of slots of a first uplink shared channel occasion of the uplink shared channel occasions in accordance with the control information. The UE may transmit an uplink control information message indicating that one or more slots of the set of slots are unused. The one or more unused slots of the first uplink shared channel occasion may be skipped during the configured grant period.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information with a value in an information element that is associated with identifying an offset between a first downlink slot in which the downlink control information is received and a second downlink slot in which shared channel data is scheduled. The UE may communicate data after a duration associated with the value in the information element and without monitoring for a physical downlink control channel communication during the duration. A user equipment (UE) may receive first control information indicative of a resource allocation for reception of periodic multi-slot multi-cast transmissions. In some aspects, the control information may indicate a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for multi-cast, multi-slot signaling. The resource allocation may include a set of multiple reception occasions over a set of multiple slots. The UE may receive one or more transport blocks during the set of multiple reception occasions over the set of multiple slots. In some aspects, the UE may transmit feedback information for the one or more transport blocks.

Multi-cast multi-slot semi-persistent scheduling communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method includes selecting a first secure physical uplink channel and a second secure physical uplink channel for multiplexing based on the first secure physical uplink channel and second secure physical uplink channel overlapping, generating a secret key based on selecting the first secure physical uplink channel and the second secure physical uplink channel for multiplexing in accordance with the first secure physical uplink channel overlapping the second secure physical uplink channel in time, generating multiplexed information based on multiplexing the first secure physical uplink channel and the second secure physical uplink channel, and encrypting the multiplexed information based on the secret key.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for determining a beamformer to apply to groups of two or more elements of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). The beamformer is applied to the groups of elements of the RIS to facilitate communications at the operating frequency by re-radiating radio signals via the elements of the RIS. For example, by grouping RIS elements in different manners and applying a beamformer (e.g., precoding weights) to the group as if the group were a single RIS element, the RIS can be reconfigured to behave differently to suit various operating frequencies of the radio signals.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Communication devices may perform secret key generation using a set of line-of-sight (LOS) communication modes to secure a physical channel. For example, a first device and a second device may communicate a set of reference signals over the physical channel using a set of LOS communication modes. The first device and the second device may generate a secret key based on the set of LOS communication modes, for example, by using information associated with the set of LOS communication modes to compute the secret key using a key derivation function that outputs the secret key. The first device and the second device may secure the physical channel by encrypting signaling between the first device and the second device with the secret key and communicating the signaling over the physical channel using LOS communications.

Secret key extraction for line-of-sight communications

Apparatuses and methods for single DCI scheduling multi-carrier for multi-slot PXSCHS and multi-SPS/CG PDSCH are described. An apparatus is configured to receive a configuration via RRC signaling, a MAC-CE, or DCI. The configuration is associated with a schedule of a set of CCs including at least two CCs. Each CC of the at least two CCs includes at least two PDSCHs or PUSCHs. The apparatus is also configured to communicate, via the set of CCs, with a network node based on the schedule. Another apparatus is configured to transmit a configuration via RRC signaling, a MAC-CE, or DCI. The configuration is associated with a schedule of a set of CCs including at least two CCs. Each CC of the at least two CCs includes at least two PDSCHs or PUSCHs. The other apparatus is also configured to communicate, via the set of CCs, with a UE based on the schedule.

Single DCI scheduling multi-carrier for multi-slot PXSCHS and multi-SPS/CG PDSCH

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications systems may support frequency hopping across subbands within a configured bandwidth part (BWP). A first network node may transmit a first control message to a second network node to indicate a set of one or more frequency hopping patterns for switching between two or more subbands within the BWP configured for the second network node. The first network node may, in some aspects, transmit a second control message that is indicative of a designated frequency hopping pattern from among the set of one or more frequency hopping patterns indicated via the first control message. The first and second network nodes may communication via a first subband and a second subband of the two or more subbands in accordance with the default or designated frequency hopping pattern.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). In one aspect, a method includes determining that (1) a first scheduled sidelink transmission to a first receiving UE using a first set of component carriers and (2) a second scheduled sidelink transmission to a second receiving UE using a second set of component carriers will overlap in a time domain; determining that the first scheduled sidelink transmission has a first transmission time length and the second scheduled sidelink transmission has a second transmission time length, wherein the second transmission time length is shorter than the first transmission time length; segmenting the first scheduled sidelink transmission into a plurality of first sidelink transmission segments; and sending, to the first receiving UE, an indication of the plurality of first sidelink transmission segments.
