An inverter configured for use within a vehicle to power consumer electronic devices and other types of devices requiring single-phase, AC energy. The inverter may include a network interface or other type of the connection to a vehicle data bus or other message exchange system in order to communicate with an electronic control unit (ECU) or other feature included within the vehicle to monitor and control energy consumption by one or more vehicle subsystems.

Inverter with network interface

An inductive charging coil assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly comprises a first base plate including at least one first coil thereon for receiving magnetic flux to charge a vehicle battery. The assembly further comprises a second base plate including at least one second coil having a top surface thereof that forms an elevated portion to focus the magnetic flux to the at least one first coil.

Apparatus for providing concentrated inductive power transfer

In one embodiment a multi-mode battery charger for a vehicle is provided. The charger includes a controller. The controller is electrically coupled to a plurality of charging systems. Each charging system is configured to provide a first power from an external power source and to convert the first power into a second power that is suitable for storage on at least one battery on the vehicle. The controller is configured to enable a first charging system of the plurality of charging systems to provide the first power based on a charging priority order in the event two or more of the plurality of charging systems are each determined to provide the first power to the vehicle at the same time.

Multi-mode battery charger

A charger system for use in a vehicle to charge a vehicle battery includes a first charger and a second charger. The chargers are connected to a vehicle bus. Each charger has a master indication digital input and decodes the input to determine its role as master charger or slave charger. The master charger configures its connection to the vehicle bus to use a master node message set. The slave charger configures its connection to the vehicle bus to use a slave node message set.

Dual-charger system

In at least one embodiment, a vehicle power module comprises a first printed circuit board (PCB) including a first plurality of electrical components for providing a first voltage and a second voltage. The vehicle power module further comprises a second PCB including a second plurality of electrical components, the second PCB being spaced away from the first printed circuit board and a first connector assembly being coupled to the first PCB and to the second PCB for providing the first voltage to the second PCB. The vehicle power module further comprises a second connector assembly being coupled to the first PCB and to the second PCB for providing the second voltage to the second PCB. The first connector assembly provides the first voltage of up to 14V and the second connector assembly provides the second voltage of 200V or greater.

Printed circuit board connection assembly

A ground monitor is disclosed. The ground monitor may be configured to conduct a ground continuity test based on a determined ground resistance. The ground monitor may be operable to determine the ground resistance as a function of a voltage differential detected during application of a test current.

Ground monitor

An integrated power module conditions and distributes electrical power from a high voltage source in a vehicle, wherein the vehicle includes an electrically-driven traction motor. A common primary DC-to-DC converter stage for coupling to the high voltage source produces an intermediate DC voltage on an intermediate voltage bus. The primary DC-to-DC converter stage comprises a plurality of phases including respective secondary circuits selectably coupled to the intermediate voltage bus. A plurality of power conditioners are each coupled to the intermediate voltage bus for transforming the intermediate DC voltage to respective power outputs, wherein the power outputs including a first AC output for driving the traction motor.

Integrated power module for hybrid and fuel cell vehicles

A system for reducing tractor pitching is disclosed, including a tractor with a hitch couplable to an implement, a force transducer that provides a force signal indicative of a force applied to the hitch by an implement, a position transducer to provide a position signal indicative of a position of the hitch, a hydraulic actuator to raise and lower the hitch, a control valve that responds to the force and position transducers to generate a valve signal, where the control circuit receives the force and position signals and drives a pitch-reducing control valve signal therefrom.

EDC draft force based ride controller

An anti-stall and bias control for a hydrostatic drive train system is disclosed. The system is used on a hydrostatic drive vehicle with an engine coupled to a first and second hydraulic pump. The first and second hydraulic pumps are coupled to first and second drive motors which drive wheels of the vehicle. The power to the drive motors is controlled by a control unit which output signals proportional to the desired power output from the motors. An engine speed sensor determines the speed of the engine. The control circuit reads the engine speed and determines whether the engine is in a stall condition. If the engine is in a stall condition, the control circuit scales the control signals of the first and second motor to reduce power output. A bias control is also provided to allow the vehicle operator to select greater relative power to either the first or second motor. The bias control outputs a bias signal which is read by the control unit. The bias signal is converted into a scaling value which is multiplied by the control signal to the nonselected motor to reduce power of the motor.
