A display device includes a stretchable lower substrate, a pattern layer disposed on the lower substrate. The pattern layer includes a plurality of first and second plate patterns, a plurality of first and second line patterns. The device includes a plurality of pixels formed on the plurality of first plate patterns, a plurality of first connection lines which connects the plurality of pixels, a gate driver formed on the plurality of second plate patterns, a power supply formed on the plurality of second plate patterns, a plurality of second connection lines, and a stretchable upper substrate.

Display device

A display device according to an example embodiment of the present disclosure includes a stretchable display panel; and an actuator configured to deform the display panel, wherein the display panel includes a first area that is protruded by the actuator, a second area that is not protruded by the actuator, and a third area that is between the first area and the second area, wherein a plurality of pixels are disposed in the first area and the second area, wherein in the third area, only a plurality of connection lines connecting the plurality of pixels disposed in the first area and the plurality of pixels disposed in the second area are disposed, so that three-dimensional display capability of the display device can be improved.

Display panel and display device including the same

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the display device includes a stretchable lower substrate and a plurality of first substrates disposed on the lower substrate and including a first pixel and a second pixel. The display device also includes a plurality of second substrates configured to couple first substrates adjacent to each other among the plurality of first substrates. The display device further includes a plurality of connection lines disposed on the plurality of second substrates and configured to couple the first pixel and the second pixel. The plurality of connection lines includes a plurality of first connection lines extended in a first direction, a plurality of second connection lines extended in a second direction and a plurality of third connection lines extended in a third direction. Thus, the display device may be improved in resolution and may be uniformly stretched in all directions.

A stretchable display device includes a lower substrate; a plurality of first substrates which is disposed on the lower substrate and includes a first area in which a plurality of sub pixel including a display element and a driving element is disposed and a second area excluding the first area; a plurality of second substrates configured to couple adjacent first substrates among the plurality of first substrates; and a plurality of connection lines which are disposed on the plurality of second substrates and are configured to couple the plurality of sub pixels, and in the second area, a first contact pad and a second contact pad are disposed and the first contact pad and the second contact pad are coupled to the plurality of connection lines via a plurality of contact holes.
