The invention relates to a powder diffuser nozzle () for an electrostatic dusting device, which is designed to be positioned at the end of an applicator gun. The inventive nozzle () comprises: a lateral wall () which defines a passage that extends from the powder conduit () of the gun (), and a base () which seals said conduit () at the end thereof. In addition, a port () is provided in the lateral wall () close to the base () in order to connect the powder conduit () with the exterior of the nozzle (). The axis (A) of the port () forms a determined angle (A) with the axis (A) of the powder conduit (). Moreover, at least one deflector () is provided on the base of the nozzle () or on the lateral wall () close to said base in order to divert the jet of powder from the conduit () along the axis (A) of the port ().

The invention concerns a triboelectric sprayer for spraying electrostatic powder paint, comprising a powder intake, an air intake, a conduit transporting air and powder while providing the electrical charge of the powder and, in front of the charging conduit, means for emitting at least an air-powder mixture jet. The air intake is located in the axis of the charging conduit, while the powder intake is arranged laterally and converges in an acute angle with the air intake, in a point located upstream of the charging conduit. The air intake includes of an injector made of electrically conductive material which also constitutes an earthing member of the wall of the charging conduit.

The invention concerns a spraying device including a first assembly provided with a spray nozzle and a second assembly incorporating means for controlling the first assembly. The first assembly is connected to the second assembly through a wireless communication system, for example by radio. The invention is applicable to hand-held powder-coating guns and sprayers associated with a multiaxial machine.

A spray booth in which objects are coated by spraying with a finely divided coating material, the booth including: a housing composed of a ceiling which has a lower surface, a plurality of walls each having an inner surface and a floor, the surfaces delimiting a spray space; a system for recovering finely divided material not deposited on the objects; at least one scraping bar for scraping finely divided material off of at least one surface selected from the lower surface and an inner surface; and an operating mechanism for supporting and displacing the scraping bar along the at least one surface. The booth is scraped by first scraping one of the lower surfaces of the ceiling and the inner surface of at least one of the walls, and then scraping the floor.

An electrostatic spraying installation for conductive liquid coating product comprises a circuit for distributing fluids including the conductive coating product. At least one coating product sprayer is fed by this circuit and is connected to a variable or interruptible high voltage supply. At least one insulated auxiliary coating product storage tank is adapted to be raised to the high voltage. The installation includes at least one rinsing product supply and at least one compressed air supply. The circuit comprises at least one mobile member isolator connected between two parts of the distribution circuit to isolate the upstream circuit part from the high voltage. The installation comprises an arrangement of valves on the upstream and downstream sides of the isolator connected to the rinsing product supply and to the compressed air supply for cleaning and purging the isolator before it is opened each time.

An electrostatic spraying installation for low-resistivity paint comprises a conveyor which conveys large objects such as automobile bodies, to be painted with a substantially constant distance between their respective leading edges. A plurality of sprayers is positioned to paint respective specific parts of the objects as they are conveyed past the sprayers by the conveyor. A respective spray member in each sprayer is connected to a high-tension electrical supply. All the spray members are substantially situated in a common plane perpendicular to the path of movement of the objects along the conveyor or in a plurality of planes perpendicular to this path and spaced from each other by the previously mentioned substantially constant distance. A plurality of electrically grounded closed loop primary paint circulation circuits each contain paint of a respective color different than the color of the paint in each of the other primary circuits. A plurality of intermediate storage tanks electrically insulated from ground, equal in number to the primary circuits, are each assigned to a respective primary circuit. An arrangement for selectively connecting each intermediate storage tank to the respective primary circuit is provided and a plurality of selector valves connects each intermediate storage tank selectively to the sprayers. A control system operates the selective connection arrangement or a subset thereof only when none of the spray members is connected to the high-tension supply. Under this condition, the control system operates paint change units simultaneously when all the sprayers are facing the spaces between the objects.

Electrostatic spraying installation for water-based paint

An installation for spraying coating product, such as water-soluble or metallic paint to be sprayed onto automobile bodies, comprises a coating product change unit on a downstream side of which is at least one distribution pipe. This feeds at least one sprayer for the coating product. An intermediate storage tank for the coating product formed in the distribution pipe(s) consists of a section of the pipe itself. An arrangement is provided for feeding rinsing product into the distribution pipe(s) and, by virtue of a selective connection device, the coating product is propelled by the rinsing product during spraying.
