An introducer set () for providing vascular access in a patient's body comprises an Introducer sheath () and a dilator (). The introducer sheath () has a tubular body () made of flexible material with a distal portion (), a proximal portion () and an inner surface, the proximal portion () being configured to be inserted into a patient's vessel to allow a medical device () to be inserted through the introducer sheath () into the patient's vessel. The tubular body () of the introducer sheath has a wall thickness (d) of 0.3 mm or less. The dilator () has a body () with a proximal portion (), a distal portion () and an outer surface, the dilator () being insertable into the introducer sheath () such that its proximal portion () extends proximally of the introducer sheath () when the dilator () is inserted in the introducer sheath (). At least one of the dilator () and the introducer sheath () comprises a stiffening structure () imparting stiffness to the tubular body () of the introducer sheath (), wherein said stiffening structure () can be released, removed or otherwise deactivated.

System for cardiac valve repair

An annuloplasty implant comprises a plurality of individual wires, each extending in a longitudinal direction of the implant between first and second opposite ends of the implant. A locking unit arranged at at least one of the ends comprises a locking structure connected to the plurality of individual wires, thereby collecting said plurality of individual wires together at at least one of the ends. The locking structure is configured to allow a relative movement between at least two of the plurality of individual wires inside the locking structure.

Annuloplasty implant

A clip having a delivery shape and an implanted shape has a first and a second leg joined at their distal ends at a distal point of the clip. The distal point forms a tapered shape of the clip and is adapted to pierce tissue. Proximal ends of the first and second legs are spaced apart in the delivery shape by a first distance. The proximal ends are compressible to the implanted shape in which the legs are spaced apart by a second distance that is shorter than the first distance. Clip for a medical implant

An annuloplasty stitching device () is disclosed for stitching at a stitch site in a patient. The stitching device comprises a support structure () comprising, an elongate center support () extending along an axial direction () between a proximal end and a distal end, a stitching arrangement () comprising, at least one elongate linkage section () being movably attached at a support end () of the linkage section to the center support, and at least one stitching member () arranged at a stitch end () of the linkage section and being movable along said axial direction by a pivoting action of the linkage section.

A stapling device () for attaching a clip () to tissue is disclosed comprising a sheath () having a distal end () for delivery of said clip, a pusher unit (') being movable inside said sheath along a longitudinal direction () of said sheath, said distal end comprising a clip guide (&#x2032;) in which said clip is movable in said longitudinal direction, wherein said clip guide has a closed (G) configuration in which said clip guide is adapted to apply a restraining force on said clip so that said clip assumes a delivery shape (C), and an open (G&#x2032;) configuration in which said clip assumes a relaxed shape (C&#x2032;), wherein said pusher unit is movable from a proximal position (P) in which said clip guide is in said closed configuration, to a distal position (P&#x2032;) in which said pusher unit engages said clip guide and the clip guide is in said open configuration. The clip guide comprises a first and a second clip guide arranged at radially opposite peripheries of the sheath and extending in the longitudinal direction.

Stapling device

A delivery system and method for delivery of an annuloplasty implant for a patient are disclosed.
