A dishwashing machine is used for pre-rinse operation of soiled dishes. A cavity is configured and arranged to contain the soiled dishes. A nozzle is proximate the cavity and is in fluid communication with the cavity. An accumulator pan accumulates wash and rinse water including cleaning chemicals used in a previous cycle of the dishwashing machine. A fluid passageway interconnects the nozzle and the accumulator pan. A pump directs the accumulated wash and rinse water from the accumulator pan to the nozzle via the fluid passageway for pre-rinse operation of the soiled dishes in the cavity, and the nozzle directs the accumulated wash and rinse water into the cavity with the soiled dishes to assist in removing soil from the soiled dishes prior to a wash cycle of the dishwashing machine. The wash cycle utilizes fresh wash water.

Use of recycled wash and rinse water for the pre-rinse operation of dishes

Systems and methods for supplying a variety of chemical products to a plurality of utilization points such as to washer extractors or washing machines includes utilizing an auxiliary flush mechanism that operates independently of a product supplying manifold so that the wash machines may be flushed in order to free the manifold to supply product to an otherwise waiting washing machine. The flush mechanism includes flush lines associated with respective washing machines and each line having an auxiliary flush valve and associated flow sensor which are configured to flush water through delivery lines leading to respective washing machines. The systems are configured such that a flushing of a washing machine or machines may occur while product is being supplied to a different washing machine via the central supplying manifold. A programmable controller is included with the system to control the various functions including receiving data from sensors and operating valves and pumps in accordance with the disclosed methods.

Apparatus, method and system for providing an auxiliary flush to a central chemical dispensing system

A mobile cleaning system () that enables touch-free, daily cleaning and disinfecting to areas or locations within an establishment is provided. The system includes generally a push cart () having front () and rear () sections spaced between vertically upstanding side sections (A-B). One or more sections of the cart () include a modulated space configurable with one or more cleaning and/or disinfecting modules for performing and supporting a cleaning and/or disinfecting operation. A tool drip tray () extends outward from at least one of the sections beneath a tool storage location (A-B) for preventing liquid or debris from dropping onto a surface beneath the cart () while stationary or in transit.

Mobile cleaning system

A system for regulating a reverse osmosis system to obtain zero wastewater. A reverse osmosis apparatus filters water from the fresh water supply into a concentrate rinse stream and a permeate rinse stream. A concentrate storage tank and a permeate storage tank are downstream of the reverse osmosis apparatus and receive the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream, respectively. A concentrate solenoid valve and a permeate solenoid valve control the flow of the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream from their respective storage tank. An institutional dishmachine receives the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream during a rinse cycle of the institutional dishmachine. A control system is operatively connected to the concentrate solenoid valve and the permeate solenoid valve and control flow of the rinse streams into the institutional dishmachine.

Zero waste reverse osmosis system and downstream rinsing

Embodiments provide a handheld fluorometer and method of determining a concentration of a product within a sample. In some cases the handheld fluorometer includes an immersible sensor head that measures a fluorescence of the product and a controller that calculates the concentration of product. In some cases the handheld fluorometer includes a handheld controller module, an immersible sensor head connected to the controller module, a sample cup for containing a water sample, and a fastener that removably fastens the sample cup about the immersible sensor head. In some cases the sensor head is angled with respect to the controller module and the fluorometer provides a substantially stable base. The sample cup can be removed to acquire a sample of water containing the product and then refastened about the sensor head for determining the concentration.

Handheld fluorometer and method of use

A warewash machine includes a rinse sump and a wash sump. A controllable deflector, under control of a control module, directs wash agent dispensed during a wash phase to the wash sump, directs rinse agent to the wash sump for a predetermined period of time after initiation of an auxiliary rinse phase, and directs the rinse agent to the rinse sump after the predetermined period of time and for a remaining duration of the auxiliary rinse phase. The controllable deflector directs water dispensed during a final rinse phase to the rinse sump such that the water combines with the rinse agent therein. The rinse agent is re-used during at least one subsequent auxiliary rinse phase.

Auxiliary rinse phase in a wash machine

A system and method are disclosed for cleaning articles within a chamber of a warewash machine. The warewash machine has a rinse sump for collecting a rinse agent dispensed into the chamber and a wash sump for collecting a wash agent dispensed into the chamber. The method includes a wash phase during which the wash agent is dispensed into the chamber during and an auxiliary rinse phase during which the rinse agent is dispensed into the chamber. The wash machine includes a controllable deflector for directing the wash agent to the wash sump during the wash phase and the rinse agent to the rinse sump during the auxiliary rinse phase. The method also includes a final rinse phase during which water from an external source is dispensed into the chamber. The controllable deflector direct the water dispensed during the final rinse phase to the rinse sump such that the water combines with the rinse agent therein. The rinse agent is re-used during at least one subsequent auxiliary rinse phase.

A system for regulating a reverse osmosis system to obtain zero wastewater includes a fresh water supply, a reverse osmosis apparatus, a concentrate storage tank and a permeate storage tank, a concentrate solenoid valve and a permeate solenoid valve, a permeate heater, an institutional dishmachine and a control system. The reverse osmosis apparatus filters water from the fresh water supply into a concentrate rinse stream and a permeate rinse stream. The concentrate storage tank and the permeate storage tank are downstream of the reverse osmosis apparatus and receiving the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream, respectively. The concentrate solenoid valve and the permeate solenoid valve control the flow of the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream, respectively, from their respective storage tank. The permeate heater heats the permeate rinse stream to a predetermined temperature. The institutional dishmachine successively receives the concentrate rinse stream and the permeate rinse stream during a rinse cycle of the institutional dishmachine. The control system is operatively connected to the concentrate solenoid valve and the permeate solenoid valve and control flow of the rinse streams into the institutional dishmachine.
