The invention relates to a method which enables sleepers to be produced for the railway track superstructure having optimised performance characteristics, in a reliable and cost-effective manner. The method according to the invention provides the following production steps: a) providing a mixture 10-60 % mass of which consists of a granulate of a plastic, which is deformable by applying heat, and the remainder of which consists of a sand having a bulk density of 1.4-2.0 g/cm; b) heating the mixture to a temperature of 150-200&#xb0; C.; c) pouring the mixture into a press mould reproducing the sleeper; d) pressing the mixture in the mould at a pressing pressure measured in the mixture of 1-5 MPa over a pressing period of up to 60 minutes; and e) removing the sleeper from the mould.

The present invention relates to a base plate for a rail fastening point, in which a rail for a rail vehicle is fastened on a substrate. The base plate includes a main body with a rib structure, which from the underside assigned to the substrate is formed into the main body of the base plate and is formed by ribs and by recesses which surround the ribs and are open to the underside, and to a rail fastening point. The base plate for a rail fastening point can be manufactured in a simple, cost-effective manner and makes it possible to avoid by simple means pressing into a soft substrate. This is achieved in that the base plate additionally includes a cover fastened to the base plate after the manufacture of the main body, which covers the rib structure on the underside of the main body at least in sections.

A system for a screwless rail fastening includes a spring element and a supporting collar. The spring element has a bearing section, a curved section, a holding-down section, aligned in the opposite direction to the bearing section, a curved section curved in the direction of the bearing section, and a locking section aligned transversally to the bearing section. The supporting collar includes a fastening section for retaining the supporting collar on the foundation, a carrier section supported by the fastening section, a bearing recess formed on the carrier section for mounting of the bearing section, and a locking head supported by the carrier section on which a counter-bearing for the locking section is formed so that the locking section is retained in a position relative to the bearing section of the spring element.

The plate element has an opening leading from the upper side thereof associated with the rail to be fastened to the underside thereof associated with the base, through which a fastening element for fastening the plate element onto the base is guided during use, which engages with an anchor fitting countersunk into the base, and a fastening point at which a rail for a rail vehicle is fastened to a fixed base. The plate element enables the fastening of a rail onto a fixed base, ensuring optimum electrical insulation. This is achieved by a ring element made from a flexibly resilient material sitting in the region of the mouth of the opening associated with the base.

The present invention relates to a plastic dowel for the fastening of a rail on a solid substrate. The plastic dowel includes an opening, an interior, a shank section, and a holding section, which provides at least one circumferential projection around its circumference. The at least one projection protrudes in a radial direction whereby the upper flank of the projection of the holding section assigned to the dowel opening is aligned at an angle of 90&#xb0;&#xb1;3&#xb0; in relation to a longitudinal axis of the plastic dowel.

A system for fastening a rail on a subsurface, includes a support plate having a contact surface, and at least one guide plate that is seated on said support plate and has a passage opening for a clamping element, which leads from the free top side thereof to the bottom side thereof. The clamping element is guided through the passage opening and is fixedly connected to the subsurface. A latching connection between the support plate and the guide plate is formed in the region of the passage opening by at least one latch arm. The latch arm engages through said passage opening and has a latch projection which interacts in an interlocking manner with a stop formed on said guide plate. A recess is molded into the circumferential surface delimiting said passage opening of said guide plate, in which recess the respectively associated latch arm is seated.

A system includes a guide plate, a fastening member and a resilient member, for fastening a rail on a solid base. The guide plate serves as a guide for the rail in the horizontal direction and as a stop for movements of the rail in the vertical direction. The guide plate has a contacting surface against which the longitudinal side of the foot of the rail rests. The resilient member which rests on the guide plate exerts substantially no hold-down force on the rail and merely supports the guide plate elastically against the clamping member. The resilient member is of a W-shaped or S-shaped configuration and, in the fitted state, a portion thereof projects sufficiently far over the foot of the rail for it to be retained resiliently by the resilient member if it is moved upwards in the vertical direction.

The system comprises a spring element, with at least one spring arm, which can be clamped against the foundation by means of a clamping element, an adapter piece, with a contact surface section, which sits on an end section of the spring arm, and a guide plate. The guide plate has a contact surface for the rail foot and a sliding surface which adjoins the contact surface via which the adapter piece can be moved from a pre-assembly position in which it sits on the guide plate with its contact surface section to an assembly position in which it is seated, with its contact surface section, on the rail foot of the rail to be fixed. A stop is provided on the sliding surface against which the adapter piece rests in the pre-assembly position.

The system comprises a guide plate, a spring element which can be clamped against the foundation by means of a clamping element, sits on the guide plate and in the final mounted system with its free spring arm exerts a retaining force on a rail foot of the rail, and a support plate which is arranged to compensate for height differences between the guide plate and the foundation concerned. The system proposes dividing the support into two parts along a joint line which runs, starting from the one long side of the support plate aligned transverse to the rail to be fixed, at a distance from the one short side to the passage opening and from there intersecting the passage opening in the direction of the short side of the support plate.

The invention relates to a system for fastening a rail to a sleeper with a baseplate, which includes at least one side portion and a bearing surface adjoining the side portion for the rail to be fastened, and with at least one guide plate that sits on the side portion. In order to simplify the installation on the respective sleeper in such a system, the invention provides that the guide plate is held on the baseplate by a catch connection formed in the region of the side portion.

A base plate for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support, having a through-opening which runs from the upper side of the base plate to its underside and through which a clamping bolt having a polygonal head is inserted from the underside, forming in the underside, a receptacle, wherein the head of the clamping bolt is seated. Each side-face of the bolt head has a face for contact formed on the circumferential wall, which extends for part of the length of a side-face of the bolt head, and against which side-face has, planar support. The faces for contact on the circumferential wall are spaced apart from one another. There is formed in the circumferential wall of the receptacle, between each pair of adjacent faces for contact, a recess wherein there is no contact between the bolt head and the circumferential wall of the receptacle.
