A transcutaneous access port to a user has a coupling member destined to be anchored in a bone of the user. A first valve system is removably connectable to the coupling member and a second valve system is removably connected to the first valve system. An internal conduit is connected at its proximal end to the access port and at its distal end to a vascular structure of the user. An external conduit is connected to the access port and to an extracorporeal device. A traversing cavity is formed in the bone at an implantation site of the user, passing the internal conduit. The internal conduit is routed through the traversing cavity to connect its distal end to the vascular structure of the user. The coupling member is anchored to the bone at the implantation site. The proximal end of the internal conduit is connected to the access port.

Method for implanting an access port

An anchor for securing a tooth replacement includes an anchoring part secured to an implant or jaw, having a recess, and a pivoting part to which the tooth replacement can be secured and which contains a pin. The pivoting part is pivotable with respect to the anchoring part when the pin is received in the recess. The anchor is configured to permit application of a hardenable substance in the recess of the anchoring part so as to fix the pivoting part in a defined position of pivoting.

Implantable access port for removal and/or return of fluids to a patient, comprising an internal conduit connectable at its proximal end to the access port and at its distal end to a vascular structure of the patient; an external conduit connectable at its proximal end to the access port and at its distal end to an extracorporeal device; and a transcutaneous coupling member destined to be anchored in a tissue of the patient and comprising a first valve system operable to be in an open or closed configuration; the coupling member further comprises a second valve system removably connectable to the first valve system and operable to be in an open or closed configuration, such as to establish fluid communication between the internal and external conduits when the first and second valve systems are connected and in open configuration.

Implanted access port

A transcutaneous implantable access port for removal and/or return of fluids of a patient comprises a fixation unit adapted to be fixed to a bone of the patient; a valve unit comprising a sealing membrane at its distal end and one or more chambers; an internal conduit fluidly connectable to vascular structure of the patient and releasably connectable to the valve unit to establish fluidic communication between the internal conduit and said one or more chambers; and an extracorporeal connecting member having an end portion. The extracorporeal connecting member is connectable to the distal end of the valve unit, opening and closing a fluidic passage between the connecting member and said one or several chambers when the connecting member is respectively connected to the access port and withdrawn therefrom. The access port can be used for high volume removal and/or return of blood or other fluids from the patient.

Implantable vascular access

The arrangement for fastening a dental prosthesis to a male bar including a female housing that is connectable to the dental prosthesis and at least two inserts that are insertable into the female housing and extend over the male bar when the female housing is attached to the latter. The arrangement allows a simpler adjustment of the retention force that retains the female housing on the male bar.
