Sensor part for installation in medium-voltage cable compartments, which sensor part comprises a voltage divider based on the capacitive divider principle, which voltage divider comprises: —a first capacitor, comprising an elongate primary conductor wrapped in a dielectric material and an elongate conducting shield arranged around the dielectric material, which first capacitor has a first capacitance rating; —a second capacitor, having a second capacitance rating, which second capacitor further comprises a first lead conductively connected with the conducting shield of the first capacitor and a second lead conductively connected to a common reference, such as earth; —a voltage output line, conductively connected with the conducting shield of the first capacitor; wherein the second capacitance rating is larger than the first capacitance rating, so that when during use the primary conductor is conductively connected with a live circuit carrying an alternating current, a measurement of a voltage between the common reference and the voltage output line can be taken as a ratio of the voltage between the live circuit and the common reference.

The invention relates to an operating mechanism for opening and closing at least one contact, which operating mechanism comprises, a base frame, a bridge body movable relative to the base frame between a closed position and an opened position, a rod mechanism of a first and a second link, a cam arranged on a shaft, a locking lever fixedly arranged with one end to the first link and moves with the first rod between a locked position and an unlocked position, a control shaft having a D-shaft portion with a flat surface portion and a semi cylindrical surface portion, and a lock position, in which the path of the second end of the locking lever intersects with the circumference of the cross-section of the D-shaft portion.

Operating mechanism

A switch for medium voltage applications is provided. The switch comprises a vacuum interrupter having a fixed contact, a movable contact movable in a first direction to and away from the fixed contact between a closed position and an open position, and a drive rod arranged to the movable contact for moving the contact between the closed position and the open position. The switch further comprises a changeover switch having a first terminal body, a second terminal body, an elongated pole body, and an operating rod. The elongate pole body is hinged with a first end to the first terminal body and rotatable between a connected position in which the second end of the pole body is in direct electrical contact with the second terminal body and a disconnected position in which the second end is disconnected from the second terminal body.

An electrically insulated conductor connection assembly and a method for providing the same are provided. The electrically insulated conductor connection assembly includes first and second electrical conductors each comprising a body portion and an end portion. A fastening mechanism electrically and mechanically connects the end portions of the first electrical conductor to the end portion of the second electrical conductor, and an insulator overlays and electrically insulates the fastening mechanism. The end portions of the first and second electrical conductors and the fastening mechanism form a joint, which is structured to be fastenable and unfastenable. When the joint is fastened and the insulator is overlaying the fastening mechanism, the joint is electrically insulated.
