Reactive dyestuffs which in form of the free acid correspond to the following formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, W.sub.1, Y, Z, Q, as well as A, B and C have the meaning given in claim 1, and their use for the dyeing and printing of fibre material made of polyamide, for example natural and, in particular, synthetic polyamides, and natural and regenerated cellulose in red and bluish-tinged red fluorescent color.

A process for the preparation of an amino-nitro-phenol by partial reduction of a polynitrophenol by contacting the polynitrophenol with an aqueous ammonia solution and a sulfide ion, the ammonia being present in an amount of 1 to 8 mols ammonia per mol of polynitrophenol and the sulfide being present in an amount of 2.5 to 6 mols sulfide ion per mol polynitrophenol, the process being conducted at a temperature of from room temperature to 100.degree. C.

Dyestuff laser

A dyestuff laser which consists of a reservoir for the dyestuff solution and an energy source, coupled thereto, which is capable of exciting the dyestuff solution to produce an emission, the radiation generated lying in the wavelength range of 550 to 680 nm. The dyestuff is a sulforhodamine.

Reactive dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein W, T, T', n, R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, p and Z have the meaning given in the description, their preparation and their use for dyeing and printing materials containing N and materials containing hydroxyl groups, especially fibre materials. The dyestuffs are particularly suitable as fluorescent dyestuffs for dyeing or printing natural and synthetic polyamides and natural and regenerated cellulose, especially cotton. They combine a high fixing yield with outstanding wet fastness properties.
