A system for generating at least a question, similar to a given question and generating their step-by-step solution is disclosed. The system includes a template creation module for creating a template representing the given question, wherein the template is created by implementing NLP techniques and performing steps of identification of one or more entities and recognition of relationships between them, identification of one or more attributes of each of the one or more entities, and identification of one or more values of each of the identified attributes. The system includes a similar question generation module for generating at least one question similar to the given question, using the template created and by replacing at least one value of at least one attribute in the template. The system also includes a solution generation module for generating the step-by-step solution for the given question and the at least one similar question.

System for generating multiple similar questions and their solutions and method thereof

System and method for generating diagnostic assessment question papers is disclosed. A diagnostic assessment question paper should be able to accurately estimate the ability level of the students for the skill set being evaluated and should be able to discriminate between learners of different abilities. In one embodiment, the system and method of the present disclosure selects questions from a question database based on constraints defined by a user, and ranks the selected questions based on policies, metadata of students, and diagnostic metadata of selected questions. Then the system selects a set of questions having higher ranks and evaluates for accuracy and discrimination measures and selects the set of questions for generating the diagnostic assessment question paper if the values for the accuracy and the discrimination measures are higher than predefined values of accuracy and discrimination. Else, the process is repeated with alternative constraints or policies or both.

A system for identifying academic content relevant to a user, from academic content hosted by a knowledge base, based on character(s) entered, is disclosed. The system is configured for receiving the character(s) entered by the user to form a search query. The system further identifies intent of the search query for re-writing the search query to instantiate a set of filters. The system is configured for applying one or more multilevel protocols on the search query for retrieving a plurality of content blocks and further assigning a score to each of the content blocks retrieved for disambiguating the content blocks. The system is configured for retrieving a node of the knowledge base associated with the disambiguated content block and retrieving academic content hosted by the node and associated widgets instantiated with content relevant to the user.

A method and system for analysing behaviour of a plurality of users for recommending a change in at least one behavioural attribute to at least one of the plurality of users for changing at least one effect of the behavioural attribute along with an estimated improvement in performance is disclosed. The method comprises, analysing activity data of the plurality of users and a context of the activity for determining one or more behavioural attributes of each of the plurality of users, assigning a value to each behavioural attribute of each of the plurality of users, determining a percentile score for each users for each of the one or more behavioural attributes and recommending, to at least one user, a change in at least one behavioural attribute and a magnitude of change and a direction of change, based on the percentile score correlated with better performance.

System and method for recommending personalized content using contextualized knowledge base

A system and a method for generating a question paper are disclosed. Also disclosed is a method and a system for measuring the quality of a question paper. In one embodiment, the method for generating the question paper comprises, a) analysing reference question paper(s) b) generating a template comprising characteristic(s) for the question paper to be generated, and c) generating the question paper by selecting question(s) from a database so as to match the characteristic(s) of the template. Further, the characteristics of any given question paper or the generated question paper are compared with the characteristics in the generated template to determine a quality score. A system for implementing the disclosed methods is also disclosed. Further, a method for measuring effectiveness of a quality score and a method for interpreting a determined quality score is disclosed.

The present invention provides a self-learning/adapting system and method that uses novel user-targeted behavioral interventions thereby allowing a user to continually improve her scoring ability by generating challenges and remedial spot recommendations at least based on user's previous attempts and based on a plurality of factors, including but not limited to knowledge or aptitude level of user, attitudinal, behavioral, and test-taking skill, thus allowing the user to continuously improve her score in a limited time frame.
