Herein is disclosed an electrostatic ink composition. In some examples, the electrostatic ink compositions comprise: a carrier liquid; a first resin; and a fluorescent pigment. The fluorescent pigment comprising a fluorescent dye and a second resin matrix, wherein the second resin is selected from the group comprising polyamide resins, polyvinylchlorides, polyolefin resins, polystyrenes, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resins, polycarbonates, poly acrylic and methacrylic acid resins, polyethylene terephthalates, polyamide resins, polyurethanes, epoxy resins, silicone resins, polyester resins, alkyd resins, acrylonitrile polymers, polyesteramides or combinations thereof.

Electrostatic ink compositions

A liquid toner for printing conductive traces is provided. The liquid toner includes a carrier liquid and toner particles dispersed in the carrier liquid. The toner particles include a low symmetry electrically conducting material dispersed in a pigment.

Herein is disclosed a magenta liquid electrostatic ink composition comprising a carrier liquid; and ink particles comprising a resin, a magenta pigment and a black pigment, wherein the black pigment is present in the composition in an amount of 0.01 to 0.5 wt % by total solids of the composition.

An indirect inkjet printing method including providing a jettable ink composition, jetting said ink composition on a surface of an intermediate transfer member forming a film having an image thereon, and transferring said image to a printable substrate. The jettable ink composition includes a hydrocarbon carrier liquid, colorant and polymeric binder resin which is soluble in the hydrocarbon carrier liquid.

The application relates to a method of producing an electrostatic ink composition, the method comprising: mixing a resin and a conductive pigment in a continuous mixer to form a compounded mixture comprising particles comprising the resin and the pigment; adding a liquid carrier to the compounded mixture, such that the particles comprising the resin and the conductive pigment are dispersed in the liquid carrier; and, before, during or after adding the liquid carrier to the compounded mixture: imparting a charge on the particles comprising the resin and the pigment.
