A method includes receiving an authentication request for a remote session between a managed device and a client device, the authentication request comprising an identifier of a user of the client device and a one-time remote service credential (RSC) passcode. The method also includes providing the user identifier and the one-time RSC passcode to an identity provider and receiving, from the identity provider, a user token for the user of the client device. The method further includes authenticating the user token using a service provider, receiving a set of attributes of the user of the client device responsive to successful authentication of the user token and providing an authentication response to the managed device, the authentication response comprising the set of attributes of the user of the client device which are used to establish the remote session between the managed device and the client device.

Remote service credentials for establishing remote sessions with managed devices

An apparatus comprises at least one processing platform including a plurality of processing devices. The processing platform is configured to communicate over one or more networks with at least one product site and a plurality of user devices/systems corresponding to respective subscribers. The processing platform is configured to receive from the product site a first file generated by a particular product and having a designated machine feed type, to store the first file in a specified storage location of the processing platform, to determine a plurality of eligible ones of the subscribers for the designated machine feed type, and to generate messages to respective ones of the user devices/systems corresponding to respective ones of the eligible subscribers to indicate that the first file is available for download. The manner in which the first file is stored in the processing platform is altered based on download acknowledgements of the eligible subscribers.

An apparatus in one embodiment comprises a processing platform including a plurality of processing devices. The processing platform is configured to communicate over one or more networks with at least one product site and a plurality of user devices/systems. The processing platform is further configured, in conjunction with transfer of a first file from a particular product of the product site to a web server of the processing platform, to extract information characterizing the transfer of the first file from the particular product of the product site, to generate in an analytics processor file transfer statistics for the first file based at least in part on the extracted information, and to provide in a file transfer portal at least one visualization of at least a portion of the file transfer statistics for the first file. The file transfer portal is accessible to one or more of the user devices/systems over the one or more networks.

Managed file transfer utilizing configurable web server

Access to a target system is secured by use of an encrypted passphrase that is supplied on-site at the target system by a user requesting access. The encrypted passphrase includes an access credential portion and a one-way encoded portion. The one-way encoded portion is an encoded version of at least some of the access credential portion. A validator at the target system receives and decrypts the encrypted passphrase and identifies the access credential portion and one-way encoded portion. The validator one-way encodes the identified access credential portion and compares the result to the identified one-way encoded portion from the decrypted passphrase. If the results do not match, the validator denies access to the user requesting access. The encoding and decrypting of the passphrase may be performed using keys generated from a secret key/seed related to the target system, unencrypted information such as time/date information, and a user PIN.
