A multilayer polymeric film includes a top layer comprising poly(methyl methacrylate); a bottom layer comprising a bottom layer composition comprising poly(methyl methacrylate), polycarbonate, copolymers thereof, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing, wherein a glass transition temperature of the bottom layer composition is less than or equal to 140&#xb0; C.; and an inner layer disposed between an inside surface of the top layer and an inside surface of the bottom layer, wherein the inner layer comprises polycarbonate.

A coextruded multilayered thermoplastic article including: a first layer with a first surface texture, wherein the first layer comprises a first transparent thermoplastic polymer having a first stress optical coefficient (C) measured at 20&#xb0; C. above the glass transition temperature of the first polymer; a second layer located comprising a second transparent thermoplastic polymer having a second stress optical coefficient (C) measured at 20&#xb0; C. above the glass transition temperature of the second matrix; wherein a relation between the first stress optical coefficient and the second stress optical coefficient is C&#x3e;4(C) (Formula A) wherein the thickness of the first layer measured from the highest peaks of the first surface texture to the second side of the first layer is greater than 1.5 times Rz of the first surface texture but less than or equal to 75% of the total thickness of the article.

In one embodiment, a graphic image display can comprise: a backlight source; a light transmitting first sheet having a viewing side and a backside, with a plurality of geometric microstructure units on the backside; and a second layer comprising a source of graphic image information. The plurality of geometric microstructure units can be selected from microlenses, polyhedral shapes, lenticular shapes, and combinations comprising at least one of the foregoing. The graphic image display can be suitable for viewing under ambient light from the viewing side alone, under backlighting alone, and in the presence of both ambient light from the viewing side and backlighting.

Disclosed herein is a sheet comprising a polymeric material; light diffusing particles disposed in the polymeric material; and a non-random surface texture on a surface of the sheet; wherein the surface texture comprises hemispherical structures, partial hemispherical structures, ellipsoidal structures, immersed spherical beads, ellipsoidal beads, 'bell-shape' bump, complex lens shape structures, pyramidal structures, reversed pyramidal structures, or combinations comprising at least one of the foregoing. The sheet has excellent hiding power and transmission at the same time and is suitable for LED light cover applications. The unit structures have an aspect ratio of 0.15 to 0.5 and a pitch of greater than or equal to 100 &#x3bc;m.
