A faucet includes a faucet body and a faucet spray head being movable from a retracted position adjacent the faucet body, and an extended position away from the faucet body. In the retracted position, the faucet spray head has at least one aligned position with the faucet body. The faucet includes an alignment coupling. The alignment coupling includes first and second alignment elements connected to the faucet body and the faucet spray head, respectively, to align the spray head with the faucet body. The faucet includes a retention coupling that is configured to retain the faucet body and the faucet spray head immediately adjacent one another. The retention coupling includes first and second retention elements connected to the faucet body and the faucet spray head, respectively. The retention coupling is separate from the alignment coupling, and at least one of the first or second retention elements is a magnet.

A faucet includes a faucet body, a faucet spout and a spray pattern controller for providing a plurality of spray patterns. The faucet body includes a faucet handle that is movable with respect to the faucet body. The faucet spout has a first end extending from and integral to the faucet body. The spray pattern controller is located along a side of the faucet spout. The spray pattern controller is configured to adjust a spray pattern. The faucet spout may include at least first and second selectable outlets, and water flow through the outlets is selectably managed by the spray pattern controller to select a spray pattern from a plurality of spray patterns capable of being dispensed through the faucet spout.

A faucet includes a faucet spout, a sensor assembly, a spray pattern controller, and a controller. The faucet body includes a faucet spout. The sensor assembly is configured to detect an object within a space proximate the faucet spout. The spray pattern controller is configured to adjust a spray pattern selected from a plurality of spray patterns being dispensed through the faucet spout. The controller is electronically coupled to the sensor assembly and the spray pattern controller, the controller capable of determining a desired spray pattern from the plurality of spray patterns.

An improved spray head is provided that is configured to deliver water in multiple modes including a spray mode and a stream mode, with a stream modulation control for modulating a stream pattern from an aerated stream to a cone stream to a concentrated straight beam stream. Thus, a versatile faucet is provided that can be utilized as a multi-purpose cleaning tool that can be adjusted to select a modulated water output pattern that is suited for a given activity. Accordingly, a user may be provided with a wider range of spray and stream pattern options from which the user can easily select and adjust for a customized experience that meets the needs of the user for the task at hand.

A pivotable spray head for connection to a faucet for expelling water is described herein. The spray head includes a spray head top portion having an inlet to receive water from the faucet and a spray head bottom portion having an outlet to expel water. The faucet illustratively includes an electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a controller configured to receive signals from the inertial motion unit sensor and control the electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed based upon the position of the faucet handle.

An article storage and retrieval system includes a body having a first side wall, a second side wall and a support surface. The support surface establishes a first article retrieval zone and a second article retrieval zone. A first door support assembly is arranged at the body. A second door support assembly arranged at the body. A roller door is mounted between the first door support assembly and the second door support assembly. The roller door includes an opening. A motor, operatively connected to one of the first door support assembly and the second door support assembly, selectively operates to shift the roller door relative to the body. A controller activates the motor to shift the roller door and selectively align the opening with one of the first article retrieval zone and the second article retrieval zone.

A soft-close pull-out faucet is disclosed. In one aspect, a faucet includes a faucet base, a faucet spout, and a spray head movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A hose extends through the faucet spout and connects to a water source and a spray head. A magnet is connected to the hose. A ring collar is fixed at least partially within the faucet spout and is formed of a non-ferretic and non-magnetic conductive material. The hose and the magnet are movable relative to the ring collar, and the magnet is positioned at least partially within the ring collar when the spray head is located in the retracted position.

A slow close faucet assembly includes a magnetic collar and a linear damper mechanism. The magnetic collar is fixedly attachable to a hose of a faucet. The linear damper mechanism has a body portion, a base portion, and a top portion. The linear damper mechanism further includes at least one damper and a damper bar. The at least one damper has a first end and a second end connected to the base portion. The linear damper bar houses a magnet and is located at the top portion of the linear damper mechanism and is connected to the first end of the at least one damper. The linear damper bar is capable of moving relative to the base portion. The magnetic collar is movable relative to the linear damper mechanism as the hose moves between a retracted position and an extended position.

An alignment coupling for a faucet includes a first alignment element positionable within a faucet body. The first alignment element has a first alignment feature. The first alignment feature includes one of a projection and a tapered groove. The alignment coupling includes a second alignment element that is movable with respect to the first alignment element. The second alignment element has a second alignment feature. The second alignment feature includes the other of the projection and tapered groove. The tapered groove includes walls that extend toward each other, and wherein the walls guide the projection to a narrowest portion of the tapered groove.
