A flat composite component, in particular a vehicle body part, comprising a material composite having an outer layer, a barrier layer adjoining the outer layer and a carrier structure on which the barrier layer is arranged and which comprises a core which has a first cover layer on the side facing the barrier layer and a second cover layer on the side facing away from the barrier layer. According to the invention, the barrier layer and the carrier structure have thermal expansion coefficients which are selected such that a deformation of the material composite in the case of a temperature change at least largely stops in a range between &#x2212;50&#xb0; C. and +80&#xb0; C.

Flat composite component, in particular a vehicle body part

The invention relates to a vehicle component made of plastic, in particular a vehicle body shell component, with at least one supporting layer, with at least one outer skin and with at least one tear-resistant splinter protection layer. According to the invention, the splinter protection layer is formed as a splinter protection fabric and is embedded in the at least one supporting layer, in particular in the edge region thereof, or between two adjacent layers. The splinter protection fabric has the effect of avoiding sharp-edged breaks of the vehicle component in an accident.

The present invention relates to a vehicle roof with a roof opening () and with a roof section () having a roof tip () pointing to the front of the vehicle () and a roof end () pointing to the rear of the vehicle (). The roof section () can be moved along guide tracks (), which run on both sides of the roof opening, out of a closed position, which closes the roof opening (), into an open position, which at least partially opens up the roof opening. In order to optimize the vehicle roof to the effect that, in the partially open position and/or during the opening movement while under way, only very low travelling noises, if any at all, are produced and the highest requirements with regard to the sealing in the closed position are met, the opening movement from the closed position of the roof section begins with a movement of the roof end () into a lowered position below the roof opening ().

A closure device is provided for a cabriolet roof structure having at least one closure element which can assume an open position and a closed position, wherein the closure device is at least at times assigned a sensor device which can detect the open position and the closed position. According to the invention, it is provided that the sensor device comprises only one sensor which generates a first signal when the open position is reached and which generates a second signal when the closed position is reached. The invention also relates to a roof structure for a cabriolet and to a method for monitoring a closure device for a cabriolet roof structure.

A motor vehicle roof is provided which includes a cover which can be moved into a raised position at its rear edge by a carriage which can be moved along guide rails in interaction with a cover carrier connected to the cover via a crank arrangement. The crank arrangement has at least one crank path and at least one sliding element which fits into the crank arrangement. For simple and reliable support of the cover in all phases, the crank arrangement preferably includes at least two crank paths and two sliding elements, wherein the crank paths are shaped and arranged such that when the carriage moves, a first sliding element assumes support of the cover in the direction of the height of the vehicle roof (Z-direction), while a second sliding element applies support in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle (X-direction). As the carriage continues to be displaced, a reversal of the supporting action of the two sliding elements occurs.
