A basketball training system that includes one or more of a basketball delivery machine, a computer vision sensor, one or more processors, and a computer-readable storage medium coupled to the one or more processors having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations can include detecting a made or missed shot, identifying indexed video and/or pose information for the shot, tagging video and/or pose information with make or miss.

Basketball training system with computer vision functionality

A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.

A basketball training system includes a user interface and a ball delivery machine. The user interface presents a visual representation of a portion of a basketball court that is free of indicia representing predetermined ball delivery locations on the basketball court. The user interface receives user inputs relative to the visual representation that identify selected ball delivery locations desired by the user. The ball delivery machine is responsive to the user interface for delivering basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.

A basketball shot counter includes a mounting shaped and sized to connect the basketball shot counter to a portion of a basketball goal having a basketball hoop; a vibration sensor; a processor in data communication with the vibration sensor, wherein the processor is configured to receive, from the vibration sensor, a datastream of vibration sensor readings; determine, from the datastream of vibration sensor readings, that a first basketball shot was attempted without successfully going through the basketball hoop; and determine, from the datastream of vibration sensor readings, that a second basketball shot was attempted and successfully went through the basketball hoop.

A basketball training system includes a ball delivery system in which a basketball is delivered to a ball ready holder located in front of a ball launch mechanism. A launch arm is grabbed and pulled backward against a spring force, and then is released to pivot forward and strike the basketball from the ball ready holder.
