A system and model by which to manage edits to localized versions of base-language electronic content. The model determines the likelihood of whether a modification made to a document is substantive and should be propagated back to the base electronic content and assists users in identifying these edits. The proposed method can significantly improve workflow efficiency and allow users to feel more comfortable in the development and use of their electronic content across multiple authoring platforms.

Document editing models and localized content management

Techniques for dynamically loading route and dependency information in a single-page application (SPA) that executes on a client device are provided. In one technique, a SPA includes a route handler that receives a requested route. The route handler determines whether the requested route matches any route in a list of routes. The only route that the request route may 'match' is a wildcard route, which is associated with a function, when called with the requested route as input, causes a server request to be generated and transmitted from the client device to a server. The server responds with the requested route, dependency information for the requested route, and, optionally, one or more other routes, which may be 'child' routes of the requested route. A module instance is generated based on the dependency information and loaded into the SPA.

Dynamic loading of routes in a single-page application

A shared environment is provided for electronic media devices such as game consoles which have Internet connectivity for receiving streaming video content. The shared environment is a virtual world which includes the video content as well as avatars which represent a group of users who have agreed to watch the content together, and scene elements which provide a realistic and eye-catching appearance. The users can enter commands to cause their avatars to emote, such as by cheering. The users can also explore the shared environment from different camera angles. A voice and/or video chat channel can also be enabled to allow the users to speak to and see one another. The video content is synchronized among the electronic media devices of the users so that the users' interactions are more meaningful as they can react to the same portion of the video content in real time.
