The present disclosure provides novel metal-organic framework materials (MOFs) useful, for example, for gas adsorption, storage, and/or separation. Also provided are methods of making the MOFs, articles of manufacture incorporating the MOFs and methods for making these, as well as methods of using the MOFs.

Metal-organic framework materials

A crystalline composition including an energetic material and hydrogen peroxide, both having observable electron density in a crystal structure of the composition, is provided. Methods of making the crystalline composition are also provided.

Provided herein is a new mercaptopurine form, as a hemihydrate, and methods of making and using the same.

Employing non-energetic MCPs as hosts (fuel) for the adsorption of oxidant molecules enables the intimate and molecular scale mixing of fuel and oxidizer on a level that is not commonly achievable in traditional energetic mixtures. The adsorption of the oxidants into MOF-5 resulted in increased heat released upon decomposition, which shows potential for utilization of this method as a platform to develop high-performance primary energetic materials.

Explosive microporous coordination polymers

Flowing supercritical COis used to activate metal organic framework materials (MOF). MOFs are activated directly from N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) thus avoiding exchange with a volatile solvent. Most MCPs display increased surface areas directly after treatment although those with coordinatively unsaturated metal centers benefit from additional heating.

Disclosed herein is a three-dimensional coordination complex that includes a plurality of inorganic centers; a plurality of a first bis(bidentate) linker; and a plurality of a second bis(bidentate) linker, where the first and the second bis(bidentate) linkers are have different lengths, and the bidentate binding sites on each linker face in opposite directions on an axis.

Microporous coordination complex and method of making the same

A linking ligand compound includes three bidentate chemical moieties distributed about a central chemical moiety. Another linking ligand compound includes a bidentate linking ligand and a monodentate chemical moiety. Coordination polymers include a plurality of metal clusters linked together by residues of the linking ligand compounds.

Strategies, linkers and coordination polymers for high-performance sorbents

An explosive material in the form of a cocrystal comprising 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20 or HNIW) and at least one energetic material. The energetic material is selected from 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT), and 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocane (HMX).

Crystalline explosive material

The present invention provides compositions of crystalline coordination copolymers wherein multiple organic molecules are assembled to produce porous framework materials with layered or core-shell structures. These materials are synthesized by sequential growth techniques such as the seed growth technique. In addition, the invention provides a simple procedure for controlling functionality.

Block coordination copolymers

A method of separating a target component from a chemical mixture comprising contacting a chemical mixture with a microporous coordination polymer. The microporous polymer is described by the formula:[M(CHO)]where M is a transition metal, rare earth metal, or other element from the groups consisting of IIA through VB.

Microporous coordination polymers as novel sorbents for gas separation

A coordination polymer includes a plurality of metal atoms or metal clusters linked together by a plurality of organic linking ligands. Each linking ligand comprises a residue of a negatively charged polydentate ligand. Characteristically, the plurality of multidentate ligands include a first linking ligand having first hydrocarbon backbone and a second ligand having a second hydrocarbon backbone. The first hydrocarbon backbone is different than the second hydrocarbon backbone.

Porous coordination copolymers and methods for their production

The present invention relates to systems and methods for generating new forms of benzodiazepine and benzodiazepine related compounds as well as new compounds and formulations generated by such methods. In particular, the present invention provides high throughput systems and methods for generating and identifying new crystalline benzodiazepine and benzodiazepine related polymorphs and new unsolvated, solvated, and other forms of the compounds that find use as improved drugs and drug formations.
