A ballistic resistant panel can be configured to be quickly and easily installed in a vehicle door. The ballistic resistant panel can include a plurality of ballistic sheets arranged in a stack. The stack can have an outer perimeter sized to fit within a cavity of the vehicle door. The panel can include a cover disposed over the stack, and the cover can be sealed around a perimeter of the stack to form a waterproof barrier that prevents moisture from reaching and altering the performance of the ballistic sheets. At least one anti-wear strip can be adhered to an outer surface of the cover. The anti-wear strip can provide a low friction surface that protects the panel from damage caused by moving internal door components, such as moving window components that repeatedly rub against the panel.

Disclosed herein are embodiments of a cleaning apparatus having an adjustable exposed surface area, the cleaning apparatus including: a flexible body with a predetermined flexible body area, the flexible body having a flexible body collapsible portion; and a panel with a predetermined panel area which is lesser than the predetermined flexible body area, the panel coupled to the flexible body to form a receptacle sized to receive the flexible body collapsible portion when the flexible body collapsible portion disposes in a collapsed condition; wherein the cleaning apparatus is adjustable between a first configuration, in which the cleaning apparatus has a lesser exposed surface area, and a second configuration, in which the cleaning apparatus has a greater exposed surface area; and wherein the first configuration is generated by removably inserting the flexible body collapsible portion disposed in the collapsed condition into the receptacle.

A protective case for an electronic device includes a protective shell and a flexible portion. The protective shell has an inner surface, an outer surface, and side members that define a perimeter of the protective shell. The side members at least partially cover respective sides of the electronic device when the electronic device is in the protective shell. The protective shell also has cutouts extending from the inner surface to the outer surface. The flexible portion is disposed on the inner surface of the protective shell and extends through cutouts of the protective shell to at least the outer surface of the protective shell.

A protective case for an electronic device may have flexible components in impact areas, such as corners of the case, where the case may be designed to flex. In many embodiments, a gap may exist between the protective case and the electronic device, and impact to the case may be absorbed by the protective case before damaging the electronic device. In some embodiments, the protective case may be manufactured from a two shot molding process where a hard plastic case may have overmolded thermoplastic elastomer. Some embodiments may have two case portions that may be joined to enclose a device. Other embodiments may be a single case that snaps over a device. Still other embodiments may be a permanently attached cover that attaches using fasteners or snap features.

A folding stand may attach to an electronic device for transportation in one configuration and may fold into a second configuration to hold the electronic device for use. The folding stand may have two main rigid components that are joined by a hinge. Each of the rigid components may have engagement mechanisms that clamp onto the electronic device in the first configuration and hold the device in one of several upright positions in the second configuration. A stringer may be attached to one of the rigid components with a hinge and may engage the other rigid component with a snap or other mechanism. In some embodiments, the entire stand may be a single piece manufactured from rigid plastic components joined with a second, flexible material that may provide one or more of the hinges in the stand.
