Provided are methods comprising presenting a sensory environment to an individual experiencing the effects of a psychoactive agent, monitoring the neural status, the physiological status, or both, of the individual, and presenting a modified sensory environment to the individual based on the monitoring. In certain embodiments, the agent is a psychedelic agent. According to some embodiments, presenting a sensory environment to the individual comprises presenting to the individual a visual stimulus, an auditory stimulus, a tactile stimulus, an olfactory stimulus, or any combination thereof. In certain embodiments, presenting a modified sensory environment to the individual comprises presenting a customized sensory environment to the individual in real-time based on the monitoring. In some embodiments, the individual is suffering from a mental health condition selected from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, and any combination thereof. Systems that find use in practicing the methods of the present disclosure are also provided.

Molecularly-initiated, experientially-delivered treatments and systems for practicing same

A computer-implemented cognitive assessment tool is provided for assessing cognitive ability of an individual while multi-tasking. In one embodiment, a computer processing system on which the tool is implemented may receive form the individual first responses to a first task and second responses to a second task, where the first task and the second task are presented to the individual simultaneously. The system may determine that the first task and the second task are performed by the individual based on the first responses and the second responses, and compute a cognitive measure using one or both of the first responses and the second responses. Further, computing the cognitive measure may be based on performance measures of one or both of the first responses and the second responses. Based on the cognitive measure, the system may output a cognitive assessment to the individual.

Processor implemented systems and methods for measuring cognitive abilities

The present disclosure provides computer-implemented methods for difficulty-adjusted multi-participant interactivity. Also provided are computer readable media and computer devices that find use, e.g., in practicing the methods of the present disclosure. In certain aspects, the disclosure pertains to closed-loop assessment and adaptive methods and systems designed to equilibrate difficulty challenge levels across multiple (two or more) participants in interactive activities. In some embodiments, a first individual presents a first simulated challenge to a second individual and the second individual responds to it. Depending upon the response of the second individual to the first challenge, the second challenge presented by the first individual to the second individual may be unchanged, made more difficult, or made less difficult so that the modified second challenge is commensurate with the skills of the second individual. Thus, the disclosure provides customized experiences for individuals of disparate physical abilities to enjoyably interact with each other.

The methods involve presenting to an individual a task to be performed, presenting to the individual an interference, and receiving inputs from the individual. Where the interference is a distraction, the individual is to ignore the interference. Where the interference is an interrupter, the individual is instructed to respond to the interrupter as a secondary task and is said to be multi-tasking. Inputs are then also received from the individual pertaining to this secondary task. The methods encompass iterations of these presentating steps and receiving of the input, and generation of analysis and/or feedback to the individual. The methods can further include conducting an analysis and/or generating feedback to the individual. The analysis can include a comparison of the performances with or without each type of interference.

Enhancing cognition in the presence of distraction and/or interruption

One variation of a method for delivering a digital medicine experience to a user includes: loading the digital medicine experience at a sensory immersion vessel; calculating a target value of a bioindicator of the physiological state of the user, the target value of the bioindicator corresponding to a target physiological state of the user; at an initial time, rendering sensory representations of a set of elements in a multi-sensory virtual environment within the sensory immersion vessel at an initial progression rate; at a time during the digital medicine experience, succeeding the initial time, measuring a value of the bioindicator; calculating a progression rate through the digital medicine experience based on a difference between the value of the bioindicator and the target value of the bioindicator; and at a second time succeeding the time, rendering sensory representations of the set of elements in the multi-sensory virtual environment at the progression rate.

The methods include presenting a computer-based cognitive training program to a subject, where performance of the subject on the cognitive task is enhanced by the cognitive training program. Systems and methods are provided for the implementation of personalized cognitive training. As an example, a processor-implemented method is provided for enhancing cognitive abilities of a user by personalizing cognitive training regimens through difficulty progression. The method includes: performing a cognitive assessment of a user using a set of assessment tasks; estimating a maximal performance of the user related to the set of assessment tasks; determining a performance range based at least in part on the maximal performance of the user; dividing the performance range into a plurality of progress gates, the plurality of progress gates corresponding to a plurality of task difficulty levels; selecting a first progress gate within the performance range; generating a first set of training tasks associated with the first progress gate; and collecting the user's first training responses to the first set of training tasks.
