The invention relates to vulcanizable compositions based on carboxylated nitrile rubbers, at least one resol crosslinker, at least one silicatic filler and at least one specific silane, to a process for preparing these vulcanizable compositions, to a process for producing vulcanizates therefrom and to the vulcanizates thus obtained. The vulcanizates feature good mechanical and dynamic properties and an excellent compression set.

Cross-linking of carboxylated nitrile rubbers by means of cross-linking systems containing resol

There are provided novel vulcanizable compositions based on optionally fully or partly hydrogenated nitrile rubbers containing epoxy groups, and specific crosslinkers, which no longer require use of conventional crosslinkers, more particularly sulphur. The vulcanizates producible therefrom possess very good compression sets at room temperature, 100&#xb0; C. and 150&#xb0; C., and additionally exhibit high tensile stress combined with good elongation at break.

Compositions that can be vulcanized and that are based on nitrile rubbers containing epoxy groups

There are provided novel vulcanizable compositions based on optionally fully or partly hydrogenated nitrile rubbers containing epoxy groups, specific basic crosslinkers and crosslinking accelerators, as a result of which the use of conventional crosslinkers, such as sulphur in particular, is no longer required. The vulcanizates producible therefrom possess very good compression sets at room temperature, 100&#xb0; C. and 150&#xb0; C., and additionally exhibit high tensile stress combined with good elongation at break.
