The invention relates to a system () for storing natural gas as fuel, in particular for a motor vehicle or utility vehicle, wherein the system () has at least one storage tank () for the fuel. It is provided according to the invention that the storage tank () is assigned at least one fuel cell (), wherein natural gas that has changed into the gaseous state can be fed from the storage tank () to the fuel cell () in order to be at least partially converted into electrical energy, wherein the storage tank () and the fuel cell () interact by way of a control unit (). In this case, the fuel cell () is in the form of a solid oxide fuel cell.

System, in particular for a motor vehicle or utility vehicle, and method for the same

A method is provided for setting combustion parameters of an internal combustion engine operated with liquefied natural gas, the combustion parameters being sensed during operation of the internal combustion engine and being stored upon shutoff of the internal combustion engine. Also provided is a controller for carrying out the method. Provision is made that during a stoppage of the internal combustion engine, the duration of the stoppage, the ambient temperature and/or tank temperature, and the pressure in a liquefied gas tank are sensed; the influence thereof on a required adaptation of the combustion parameters that are to be set is identified from a characteristics diagram; and from the stored combustion parameters and the adaptation, initial combustion parameters are identified and are used upon startup of the internal combustion engine in order to control it.

Method and controller for setting the combustion parameters for an internal combustion engine operated with liquefied natural gas

A method of keyless locking of a motor vehicle is described. A transponder exchanges a code with a transceiver. A control unit compares this code with the expected code and, if a match is found, activates a closing system of the vehicle in the sense of locking it. This control unit activates at least one display means. A locking command is generated on actuation of at least one operating element. In a first step, a search signal is delivered by the transceiver when the operating element is actuated in order to determine the position of the transponder on the basis of the response signal sent back by the transponder. In a second step, the display means is activated when the transponder is in the interior of the vehicle and/or on the side of the vehicle opposite the actuated operating element. In a third step, the closing system is activated in the sense of locking it if the operating element has been actuated again.

Method for locking a motor vehicle in a keyless manner

A device for locking and unlocking a door of a motor vehicle. The device includes a transmitting unit located on the motor vehicle and at least one transponder with an access authorization code assigned to a user. To allow flexible adjustment to different situations, the information exchanged between the transmitting unit and transponder contains not only an access authorization code but also a driving authorization code. In addition to the transponder, at least one additional storage device is provided in or on the vehicle for storing the driving authorization.
