A blower filter device () is connectable to a voltage supply unit () and includes a blower unit (), a filter mount (), an internal energy storage unit (), an energy interface (), a current limitation device (), a sensor array () and a control device (). The current limitation device is activated upon disconnecting the energy interface from the voltage supply unit. The activated current limitation device limits the intensity of a current from the energy interface to the internal energy storage device. Upon the voltage supply unit being connected to the energy storage device and a predefined deactivating event is detected, the control device deactivates the current limitation device. The deactivating event is based on a charging voltage of the internal energy storage unit and/or on a time period that has elapsed since the connection. A process is provided for operating such a blower filter device.

A communication system includes a headset, which is configured to output sound waves to an ear of a user based on an audio signal, as well as a microphone, which is configured to output a microphone signal based on ambient sound. The communication system further contains a processing circuit, which is configured to generate, based on the microphone signal, a signal component of the audio signal, which signal component includes information about the generation of sound waves which interfere destructively with a component of the ambient sound occurring at the ear of the user. In addition, the communication system contains a wireless interface and a control circuit, which is configured to activate the processing circuit as a function of an operating state of the wireless interface.

A breathing air supply system () is configured to be carried by a person () and includes a breathing air supply device (), a fastening device () for the breathing air supply device () and a vital parameter sensor (). The vital parameter sensor () is mounted in or at a back section () belonging to a fastening section () of the fastening device (). The vital parameter sensor () is configured to contactlessly measure a vital parameter of a user () of the breathing air supply system ().

An audio processing device () includes a correction microphone (), a reference microphone (), a classification unit (), an active noise cancellation (ANC) unit (), and a speaker (). The correction microphone is arranged in an area adjacent to an ear of a user of the device and picks up acoustic signals in the area and outputs same as a correction signal. The reference microphone picks up surrounding noises () from a surrounding area of the user and outputs same as a reference signal. The classification unit receives the reference signal and splits the reference signal corresponding to a spectrum and amplitude thereof into signal components of two or more classes and outputs a classified signal. The ANC unit receives and processes the correction signal based on the classified signal and outputs a corresponding audio signal. The speaker receives the audio signal and provides a corresponding acoustic signal output.

Device, system and process for audio signal processing

A charging device, for charging a battery pack, can be combined with other charging devices to form a multi-charger. The charging device has an input-side contact element for a power cable or an additional charging device connection. Internally, the charging device has conductors for the electrically conductive connection of the input-side contact element to an output-side contact element and for looping through a power supply voltage in contact with the input-side contact element. A charging device circuit of the charging device is internally connected to the looped-through supply voltage. The charging device circuit includes an input side voltage converter and a charging controller for charging a battery pack. The supply voltage can be converted by the voltage converter into a supply voltage for feeding the charging controller.

Cascadable multi-charger and method for the operation thereof

A fan filter device () for a respirator () includes an air inlet () for unfiltered air and an air outlet () for the discharge of filtered air. A fan unit (), for aspirating air through the air inlet, includes a fan motor () and a fan sensor (). The fan sensor is designed for detecting at least one operating parameter of the fan motor. The fan filter device further includes a filter unit () for receiving a filter () for filtering the aspirated air and an air flow sensor () for detecting at least one flow parameter of the filtered air flowing through the air outlet. A control unit () is configured to monitor the fan motor as a function of the at least one flow parameter and the at least one operating parameter. A respirator and method for operating such a fan filter device are also provided.

Blower filter device, respirator system and method

A blower filter respirator system () has a filter element () for filtering ambient air (), a blower unit () and a face part () with a tube element ()&#x2014;face part/tube combination ()&#x2014;for feeding an amount of breathing air () to a user (). A pressure sensor () is on an outlet side () of the blower unit () measuring breathing air pressure values () by detecting a pressure difference on the outlet side () of the blower unit () against the ambient air (). A control unit () is configured to operate the blower unit () and control breathing air () and is configured to determine a desired pressure value () for current operation with the face part/tube combination () from operation-related properties () of the blower unit () and specific properties of the face part/tube combination () and for comparing with the current pressure value ().

A blower filter system () has a blower filter device () with a housing (), an air inlet (), an air outlet () and an air duct () extending between the air inlet () and the air outlet () in the housing (). A blower (), associated with the air duct (), delivers air from the air inlet () to the air outlet (). An air filter () and a carrying system () can be connected to the blower filter device (). A tube () extends from the air outlet () to a breathing mask (). A sound emission unit () is associated with the blower filter device (). A wall section () of the air duct () is formed by an acoustic membrane () for coupling sound into the air duct (). The sound emission unit () is arranged in the housing () of the blower filter device ().

A head simulator, for testing respirators, has a head simulator body () with a simulated oral aperture () and with a simulated oral cavity (), which is located behind the simulated oral aperture () in the head simulator body. A loudspeaker () is arranged in the simulated oral cavity (). An audio unit () is connected to the loudspeaker () for reproducing speech via the loudspeaker (). The head simulator includes a simulated trachea (), which is in connection with the simulated oral cavity () and opens into the simulated oral aperture (). An air delivery device () is provided, which can be operated to allow air to flow through the simulated trachea () and the simulated oral aperture ().

A blower filter system () includes a blower filter device () with a blower (), with a filter mount () and with a tube port () for connecting a respirator device () by a tube (). The filter mount () is designed to receive a filter (), on which a color coding () with a color specific to the pneumatic resistance of the filter () is arranged, and the blower filter device () has an optical sensor device () for recognizing different colors of the color coding ().

A blower filter system includes a blower unit (), an electric motor () for driving a blower impeller, a control unit () for controlling the electric motor, contacts () for connecting to a battery pack, and a battery pack () with secondary cells () with high energy density and contacts () for connecting to the blower unit. The blower unit () can be detachably coupled to the battery pack (). The battery pack is electrically connected to the blower unit via the contacts. The battery pack () has protective circuits including electronic components () to electrically switch off at least one of the plurality of secondary cells () of the battery pack if excessive currents and/or excessive temperatures occur. The battery pack () and the blower unit () are each at least partially cast in a casting compound.

Battery-operated blower filter system for use in potentially explosive areas

A head protection device, e.g., a gas mask or a safety helmet, has a communication interface for sending a first communication signal and for receiving a second communication signal. Further, the gas mask has a signal processor providing an interface for sending the first communication signal, for detecting a microphone signal, for detecting the second communication signal and for sending an ear speaker signal. The signal processor is configured such that the first communication signal is sent as a function of the microphone signal, and that the ear speaker signal is further sent as a function of the second communication signal.

A gas mask is provided with a mask body, which is designed to cover the face of a user, and with an opening in the mask body, which is closed by a speech diaphragm () in a gas-tight manner. A funnel () is directed toward the speech diaphragm with an opening angle in the range of 20&#xb0; to 90&#xb0;. The funnel () is arranged in front of the speech diaphragm in the interior space of the mask body in order to focus sound waves onto the speech diaphragm.

Gas mask

A system includes a blower filter system (), having a blower filter device (), a head piece () and a flexible connection hose (), connecting the blower filter device () and the head piece to one another in a fluid-communicating manner. A computer () is separated in space from the blower filter system. The computer has a communication interface (), which is designed to transmit data from the computer to the control unit () of the blower filter device and/or to receive data from the control unit of the blower filter device to the computer. The blower filter device has at least one communication interface () for transmitting data from the control unit to an external computer and/or for receiving data sent from an external computer to the control unit. A process is provided for checking and setting device-specific parameters of the blower filter device of the blower filter system.
