A measuring apparatus () for determining the volume flow of glue in a gluing device () for an apparatus, particularly a bottoming device or a tubing machine, for manufacturing bags or semifinished bag products. The measuring apparatus () comprises a pressure accumulator () having a gas volume () and a glue volume () that is separated from the gas volume () by a pressure equalization element (), particularly a flexible membrane, wherein the glue volume () as a glue port () for connection to a glue line () of the gluing device (), and the pressure accumulator () comprises a pressure sensor () for determining the internal pressure inside the pressure accumulator ().

Measuring device for determining the volumetric flow rate of glue in a gluing device

A device for the production of tubes or sections of tubes having at least one paper layer, from which paper bags can be manufactured, includes an unwinder device for unrolling at least one material web from a material web roll, a device for the provision of at least one edge region of each material web with glue, and a tube forming device via which the edge region provided with glue can be inverted onto, and attached to, a second edge region. The tubes or sections of tube can be provided with air-permeable channels in the device. The device for providing at least one edge area of each material web with glue has glue application valves, with at least two glue application valves being functionally assigned to each material web, and with noncontinuous glue tracks being produced with the glue application valves such that interruptions therein form the air-permeable channels.

Device and method for the production of tubes or sections of tubes

A device for forming a tube provided with gussets out of a single- or multi-layer, continuously pre-stressed material web consists of divided upper and lower folding plates mounted on the machine frame that determine the width of the tube to be formed when it is laid flat, which approach one another with regard to their distance from one another approximately in the shape of a wedge and in a manner perpendicular to the plane of the tube to be formed, beginning from the approach sides, with the wedge angle being adjustable, and with the device having two rows of insertion discs respectively mounted on carriers reaching between the folding plates for forming the gussets, whose distance from one another may be adjusted in the plane of the tube to be formed. In order to decrease the number of adjustment procedures when changing the format, an adjustment device of both rows of insertion discs on the middle level between the upper and lower folding plates is directly or indirectly connected to a device for displacing both rows of insertion discs in such a manner that the angle formed by the common tangents of both rows of insertion discs is sufficiently large that the insertion discs essentially firmly supply the interior folding edges of the gussets.

Device for forming a tube provided with gussets

A needle roller arrangement includes several needle rollers arranged in a freely rotatable manner in a rotary frame on a circular line which is concentric to its rotational axis. One of the needle rollers interacts with a brush roller for perforating a material web passing through the arrangement. In order to be able to lift the needle roller interacting with the brush roller away and replace it while requiring less energy, each roller is arranged inside the rotary frame such that it can be lifted off of the brush roller. The needle roller interacting with the brush roller is respectively provided with an arrangement for removal from the brush roller and application to the brush roller.
