A device () for mixing which comprises a housing () with at least one inlet (). A first process region () mixes the supplied substances which are introduced via the inlet () while a second process region () discharges the mixture via an outlet (). A first gap-forming element (), preferably a rotor, is assigned to the first process region () and comprises openings (), and a second gap-forming element (), preferably a stator, is assigned to the second process region () and corresponds with the first gap-forming element (), wherein the second gap-forming element () comprises openings (). At least one of the gap-forming elements () is rotatable relative to the other gap-forming element (). The openings () of the first and second gap-forming elements () are arranged such that a mixture passes through the openings from the first into the second process region.

Device and method for mixing, in particular dispersing

The invention relates to a multi-screw extruder for the continuous treatment and/or processing of a bulk material, especially a product in powder, granular or flake form, comprising several shafts () which are arranged in a ring shape in a cavity () of an extruder housing () and which extend parallel to the axial direction (A) of the extruder. The extruder housing () is provided with axially parallel, concave segments () of a circle on the radially inner () and radially outer () surfaces of the cavity (). These circle segments act as a guide for the axially parallel shafts () with their processing elements () on the inside () or on the outside () of the shaft ring (, . . . ). The inventive improvement lies in the radial extension of the axial partial area of the cavity () containing the shafts (), which is located in the area of the feed opening (), this radial extension () extending along part of the shaft ring (, . . . ) in the peripheral direction (U) of the same.

Ring extruder feed

A device for dosing and/or mixing highly viscous and non-flowable materials, especially pigment pastes. The device includes a funnel which revolves about its own axis and a twin screw arranged inside the funnel. The twin screw arranged in a horizontal position in the funnel and contacts the interior wall thereof. This arrangement ensures that all moveable parts of the device mutually strip and clean one another.
