An oscillating power tool with an electric motor is provided, including an armature shaft with an armature and a fan wheel, including an eccentric arranged on the armature shaft at one end thereof, a first balancing mass for balancing an unbalance of the eccentric and possibly an eccentric bearing, being arranged in the proximity of the eccentric or the eccentric bearing, respectively, however, at an axial distance, further including a second balancing mass for balancing a couple unbalance caused by the axial distance between the eccentric and the eccentric bearing, respectively, and the first balancing weight, wherein the second balancing mass is arranged on the armature shaft at the side facing away from the eccentric or the eccentric bearing. Also a method for balancing such an electric motor is provided.

A housing for an electric machine tool, in particular for a core drill, said housing in which a motor is accommodated, which has a motor shaft for driving a tool mount and to which cooling air is supplied through at least one air guide duct, which is delimited at one end by at least one air inlet and at the other end by at least one air outlet. A guide structure, providing air guidance for the cooling air and associated with a motor mount, in which the motor is at least partially accommodated, is disposed in the air guide duct downstream from the at least one air inlet.

A machine tool that can be guided manually has an outer housing that extends along a longitudinal axis and has a hand grip region. An electrical drive unit and a tool unit are accommodated in the outer housing and are mechanically uncoupled relative to the outer housing. The outer housing has a center of mass that, with respect to the length of the outer housing, is arranged along the longitudinal axis in a section that extends toward the rear from the geometric center of the outer housing.

A handheld oscillation machine tool has support devices for maintaining a spacing between internal parts and an outer housing. The support devices are arranged in pairs of first and second support devices. One support device in each pair has a concave circular surface, and the other has an opposed convex circular surface. Elastically deformable damping elements are arranged between the pairs of support devices. The damping elements are deformed from original flat conditions under forces applied by the support devices, and have concave and convex circular surface adjoining the opposed concave and convex circular surfaces at the support devices.

Hand-held machine tool having an outer housing extending substantially along a longitudinal axis, with an electric drive unit accommodated in this outer housing, and with a tool arrangement which is disposed at a first end of the electric drive unit. The outer housing of the machine tool has a defined inner contour and the electric drive unit and the tool arrangement have a defined outer contour. The outer contour and the inner contour of the outer housing are at a predetermined minimum spacing from each other. At least one inlet opening for cooling air is disposed in an end region of the outer housing. The electric drive unit drives a fan arrangement which draws in through the at least one inlet opening cooling air which flows substantially parallel to the rotational axis of the electric drive unit through the machine tool and flows out of the outer housing to the outside at the outer contour of the machine tool.

A hand-held hammer drill has a housing, a tool spindle rotatingly driving a tool, a hammer action percussion-driving the tool, a swash plate drive driving the hammer action, and a countershaft driving as needed the tool spindle and the hammer action. A first bearing and an axial bearing are provided. The hub is rotatably supported in a cantilevered arrangement by the first bearing in the housing and coaxially surrounds the countershaft. The hub has a free cantilevered end and the axial bearing is disposed on the free cantilevered end, wherein the axial bearing axially supports the countershaft and has radial play relative to the countershaft.

A tool has a tool insert and an electrically operated drive unit oscillatingly driving the tool insert. The drive unit has a piezo actuator and an adjusting travel enlarger coupled to the piezo actuator. The adjusting travel enlarger has a master piston, at least one slave piston, and at least one pressure chamber. The master piston acts through the at least one pressure chamber on the at least one slave piston. The piezo actuator and the master piston are fixedly connected to one another.

A press that includes a push rod ( ) that can be pushed downward to cut and mold miniature components, has a small size and a minimum number of components, and can be easily and precisely controlled. The push rod has a largely upwardly-facing shoulder ( ) that lies in a chamber that can receive pressured hydraulic fluid to push down the push rod. A piezoelectric actuator, or piezoactor ( ), moves a piston ( ) that lies in a pressure cylinder. One end of the pressure cylinder holds hydraulic fluid ( ), and when the piezoactor pushes the piston it pressurizes the hydraulic fluid therein. Pressured hydraulic fluid in the pressure cylinder flows through a passage ( ) to the rod chamber to press down the push rod. The cross-sectional area of the pressure cylinder is many times greater than the cross-sectional area of the push rod shoulder so slight movement of the piezoactor is magnified many times by the hydraulic fluid to move the push rod with a long stroke.
