A road paver comprises a tractor vehicle with a material hopper for receiving paving material and a paving screed for compacting paving material. The paving screed comprises at least one electric heating device for heating the paving screed. The road paver comprises at least one electric switching assembly configured to switch an electric power supply of the electric heating device. The electric switching assembly comprises an electric parallel circuit of two switching devices, wherein the electric parallel circuit of the two switching devices forms a series electric circuit with the electric heating device.

A driving joystick arrangement for a construction machine comprises an operating lever and a basic housing, wherein the operating lever is pivoted in the basic housing, and the basic housing comprises a shift gate through which the operating lever extends. A construction vehicle may be a road finisher or a feeder vehicle for a road finisher. A road finishing machine comprises a tractor and a screed hinged to the tractor to be towed behind the tractor. The disclosure relates to a road finishing machine comprising a paving screed for the production of a new road pavement layer of a paving material and a unit provided on the road finishing machine to generate a dynamic compacting specification field based on thermographic geosignals with regard to at least one temperature image that exists behind the paving screed of the road finishing machine for at least one surface section of the newly installed road pavement layer. An information indication unit provided on the road finishing machine is configured to display at last one compacting message that is at least partially based on the compacting specification field to an operator of at least one compacting vehicle that follows behind the road finishing machine for compacting of the newly installed road pavement layer.

The present disclosure refers to a paving screed for compacting a paving material, comprising at least one external control station for an operator for controlling at least one operating parameter adjustable on the screed, for example a power of a screed heating system. The external control station comprises a support and at least one operating panel detachably attached thereto as an input unit for the operator for setting the at least one operating parameter. The operating panel is attached to the support by means of a plug connection device having a first plug connector part with at least one first electrical contact part integrated thereon and a second plug connector part with at least one second electrical contact part integrated thereon. Furthermore, an electrical coupling of the two electrical contact parts integrated on the plug connector parts can be produced by a mechanical coupling of the two plug connector parts.

A paving train for producing at least one pavement layer on a traffic surface is formed from at least two independently driven units travelling in a group, such as a road finisher, a road paver, an IP finisher, a feeder, a supply unit or the like. The units move one behind the other at a given distance. In order to enable communication between the units via certain parameters such as speed, material filling level and the like, and in order also to easily control a corresponding distance between the units as well as the corresponding material transfer, a wireless communication link is formed between the units at least for exchanging speeds and/or material filling level.

A road finisher comprises a towing vehicle including a material hopper at a front in a paving travel direction for receiving paving material, and a paving screed which is pulled behind the towing vehicle in the paving travel direction for compacting paving material. A generator for providing electrical power is provided on the towing vehicle. A plurality of electric heating devices is provided on the paving screed for heating the paving screed. The road finisher further comprises a power distribution arrangement having a line network configured to supply the heating devices with power provided by the generator. The power distribution arrangement comprises a plurality of power adjusters provided on the paving screed and each power adjusted is associated with one of the heating devices. The road finisher comprises a control device configured to control the power adjusters to individually dynamically adjust the power supplied to the respectively associated heating device.

A road finishing machine includes a chassis, a material bunker for receiving paving material located at the front in the paving direction of the road finishing machine, and a screed for compacting paving material located at the rear in the paving direction of the road finishing machine. On a driver stand of the road finishing machine, a main control platform with primary operational controls is provided for controlling working components of the road finishing machine. The primary operational controls may be actuated by an operator located on the road finishing machine. An operation unit with a plurality of secondary operational controls is provided laterally at the chassis or the material bunker.

The disclosure relates to a construction machine with a paving screed to install a road surface, whereby the construction machine is a self-propelled road paver and comprises at least one power line for power supply of at least one electric consumer of the paving screed and whereby the construction machine contains a network for data transmission between at least one sender integrated in the network and at least one receiver integrated in the network. Furthermore, according to the disclosure, at least one section of the power line is integrated in the network and configured for data transmission between the sender and the receiver.

A method is provided for controlling a road finishing machine with a material bunker for receiving paving material, a screed for compressing the paving material, a drivable rear wheel and a drivable front wheel. A rotational speed of the rear wheel of the road finishing machine is measured. Moreover, a travel speed of the road finishing machine is measured. A target driving torque of the front wheel of the road finishing machine is calculated based on the measured rotational speed of the rear wheel and the measured travel speed of the road finishing machine. Then, an actual driving torque of the front wheel is adjusted to the calculated target driving torque. The disclosure also relates to a road finishing machine.

A construction machine includes a sensor unit having a measurement range. The sensor unit is variable in its orientation relative to the construction machine, whereby position or orientation of the measurement range relative to the construction machine is also variable. The sensor unit is configured for detecting position of an external reference. The construction machine further includes a setup assistance system including a display configured to indicate to an operator while the sensor unit is oriented relative to the reference in which direction the sensor unit has to be moved in order for the reference to be located in the measurement range.
