A method includes selecting a first machine learning model from a plurality of machine learning models that are trained for use in performing geolocation, wherein the first machine learning model is selected to perform geolocation within a first cell of a plurality of cells of a wireless network, acquiring event data from a plurality of wireless devices within the first cell, grouping the event data into a plurality of records, wherein each record of the plurality of records contains event data that indicates a common wireless device of the plurality of wireless devices, a common cell of the plurality of cells, and a common timestamp, and generating a predicted location of a first wireless device of the plurality of wireless devices, using the first machine learning model, wherein the first machine learning model outputs the predicted location in response to an input of a record of the plurality of records.

Geolocation of wireless network users

Systems, apparatus, user equipment (UE), evolved node B (eNB), computer readable media, and methods are described for scheduling of multiple uplink transmissions in unlicensed spectrum. One embodiment involves receiving, at an eNB, a first uplink scheduling request from a UE, scheduling a plurality of uplink subframes on the unlicensed channel in response to the first uplink scheduling request, and initiating transmission of a first subframe to the first UE in response to the scheduling of the plurality of uplink subframes, wherein the first subframe comprises one or more downlink control indicators (DCIs) allocating the plurality of uplink subframes to the first UE.

Multi-subframe uplink scheduling in unlicensed spectrum

Devices, methods, user equipment (UE), evolved node B (eNB), and storage media are described suitable for coexistence operations for uplink communications on multiple unlicensed carriers. Various embodiments are implemented in LTE systems with license-assisted access (LAA) associated communications. In one embodiment, a UE processes one or more uplink grants from an eNB scheduling transmissions on multiple unlicensed carriers at a first time, and indicating a first channel access procedure. The UE then selects a first unlicensed carrier and performs the first channel access procedure, and performs a second channel access procedure on a second unlicensed carrier of the multiple unlicensed carriers.

Devices and methods for ELAA multi-carrier LBT

Techniques for channel state information (CSI) reporting are discussed. One example apparatus at a user equipment can derive, for one or more subframes of a license assisted access (LAA) secondary cell (SCell), one or more channel measurements based on reference signals (e.g., cell-specific reference signals (CRS) or CSI reference signals (CSI-RS)), in those subframes; generate CSI that comprises a channel quality indicator (CQI) based on an average of the one or more channel measurements from multiple subframes comprising a first subframe and a later second subframe, wherein each orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a second slot of the first subframe is occupied, wherein each of a first three OFDM symbols of the second subframe are occupied, and wherein each OFDM symbol between the first subframe and the second subframe is occupied; and generate a CSI report that indicates the set of CSI parameters.

Channel state information (CSI) measurements and CSI reporting in licensed assisted access (LAA)

Described are mechanisms and methods for supporting Channel State Information (CSI) measurement and reporting, and for supporting Radio Resource Management (RRM) measurement and reporting, under License Assisted Access (LAA) with dynamic power sharing. An eNB may comprise one or more processors to generate a maximum number of Component Carriers (CCs) and a number of active CCs to a UE. The eNB may then be operable to process a reported quality rating from the UE and generate a scaled quality rating based upon the reported quality rating, the maximum number of CCs, and the number of active CCs. A UE may comprise one or more processors to process a reference signal transmission from an eNB, to generate an unfiltered reference signal transmission based upon the reference signal transmission, and to calculate a quality rating based upon the unfiltered reference signal transmission.

Methods for CQI feedback and RRM measurements with dynamic power sharing among multiple LAA SCells for DL-only transmission

Concepts and technologies are disclosed for creating and using cell clusters. Cellular network data associated with a cellular network can be obtained. The cellular network data can include configuration data associated with a cell of the cellular network and a performance indicator associated with the cellular network. A number of cell clusters to be generated can be determined and the cell clusters can be generated. The cell clusters can include a cell cluster that can represent multiple cells including the cell. A model that represents the cell cluster can be trained. An input cluster that represents multiple inputs can be generated. The inputs can be associated with the multiple cells and the input cluster can include a value. The value can be provided as input to the model to obtain a predicted output associated with the cell cluster.

Creating and using cell clusters

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system receives data at an edge node of a network that also includes regional nodes and central nodes. The processing system also determines a latency criterion associated with an application for processing the data; the application corresponds to an application programming interface. The method also includes processing the data in accordance with the application, monitoring a latency associated with the processing, and determining whether the latency meets the latency criterion. The processing system dynamically assigns data processing resources so that the latency meets the latency criterion; the resources include computation, network and storage resources of the edge node, a central node, and a regional node in communication with the edge node and the central node. Other embodiments are disclosed.

System and method for low latency edge computing

A number of embodiments can describe the operation of a UE in an unlicensed spectrum. Operating a UE in an unlicensed spectrum can include processing a PDCCH transmission provided by an eNodeB to identify a resource for a transmission of the SR message and based on the resource identified in the PDCCH, generating a PUCCH transmission comprising the SR message for the eNodeB.

Scheduling request transmissions in the unlicensed spectrum

A framework to handle monitoring and automatic fault manifestation in cloud networks. Multiple techniques correlate the logs of different cloud services or generate independent capsules for each component, VM, storage, or transaction. In a first exemplary technique, an authentication token is provided by an authentication service for logs during a period of an event. In a second exemplary technique, a unique instance ID for multiple distinct processes may be created in a data model of notification logs or service logs.

Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB) operable to communicate with a User Equipment (UE) on a wireless network. The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to initiate a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) procedure on a bandwidth of the wireless network, the bandwidth being unlicensed spectrum. The second circuitry may be operable to generate a transmission if the LBT procedure indicates that the bandwidth is idle, the transmission comprising a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) preamble portion and a message portion.
