A method of positioning a target node (-) in a side-link communication system in a wireless communication network () is described. The method comprises establishing a communication link with the target node (-), and a second node (-), for positioning the target node (-). The first node (-) transmits a capability request message to the target node (-) and the second node (-) and receives a feedback message comprising a capability reply message and an acceptance message. The first node (-) configures the second node (-) for transmitting and receiving a Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) to or from the target node (-), based on the feedback message. The PRS is utilized for determining position measurement of the target node (-). The first node (-) receives data related to the position measurement and estimated position of the target node (-), from the target node (-) and the second node (-).

System and method of positioning of a target node in side-link communication system

The present invention relates to a method of signalling in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. The method comprises signalling information related to multiplexing capability and supported modes of operation from the child IAB node to the parent IAB node. An active mode of operation is determined at the child IAB node. The configuration to operate in the active mode of operation is signalled to the child IAB node. Timing Advance (TA) for each active mode of operation, guard information for each active mode of operation are signalled as configuration for the active mode of operation. Further, the method comprises signalling exchanges for fallback from one mode of operation to another at child IAB nodes.

Method of signalling in an integrated access and backhaul network

A system and a method for performing uplink (UL) time synchronization in non-terrestrial networks (NTN) include Performing Downlink (DL) synchronization SSB signals. At least one information is received by a UEfrom an NTN BS. A location information of a satellite is obtained using the at least one information received by the UE. Location of the UEis estimated using one of GNSS receiver of the UEand by processing at least one reference signal received by the UEfrom multiple NTN-BS, using at least one multilateration technique and RTK. Timing Advance (TA) estimate is determined using the location of the satellite and location of the UE. TA applied is determined using the TA estimate and TA margin. PRACH is transmitted based on the TA applied and an information related to the TA applied is reported to the NTN-BS. Residual TA is estimated using the reported information related to the TA applied and the detected PRACH. The residual TA is indicated to the UEfor subsequent UL transmissions, in order to achieve the UL time synchronization in the NTN based communication network.

Methods and systems for uplink time synchronization in non-terrestrial networks based communication

The present invention relates to a method of signalling in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. The method comprises signalling metrics from a parent IAB node to a child IAB node for association of the child IAB node with the parent IAB node. Information related to multiplexing capability and supported modes of operation is signalled from the child IAB node to the parent IAB node. An active mode of operation is determined at the child IAB node. Timing Advance (TA) for each active mode of operation, guard information for each active mode of operation, and exchanges for In-Band Full Duplexing (IBFD) mode of operation are signalled. Further, fallback capability of IAB nodes during presence of Self-Interference (SI) is also signalled.

The method includes configuring a first CLI-RS configuration at a first UE (). Further, the method includes configuring a second CLI-RS configuration at a second UE (). Further, the method includes generating a CLI-RS sequence using a common CLI-RS reference point known to the first UE () and the second UE (). Further, the method includes filling the CLI-RS sequence in the first set of CLI-RS resources indicated in the first CLI-RS configuration. Further, the method includes transmitting the CLI-RS sequence filled in the first set of CLI-RS resources indicated in the first CLI-RS configuration to the second UE (). Further, the method includes receiving the CLI-RS sequence transmitted by the first UE (). Further, the method includes processing the received CLI-RS sequence based on the second CLI-RS configuration.

Method and system for enabling of cross-link interference measurement using CLI-RS resource in wireless network

Embodiments herein provides a method and apparatus for data communication in an OFDM system. The method comprising receiving by a second OFDM apparatus a plurality of parameters, a signal comprising data and at least one of a Reference Signal (RS) and a message from a first OFDM apparatus. The plurality of parameters comprises at least one of a numerology of the first apparatus, a numerology of the second apparatus, a ratio of numerology of the first apparatus to the second apparatus and a measurement window. The method includes filtering a desired band comprising the at least one of the RS and the message from the received signal, removing a cyclic prefix from the filtered signal, and decoding at least one of the RS and the message from the signal with adjusting a circular shift in the set of symbols based on the plurality of parameters.

Method and apparatus for data communication in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system

Accordingly, the invention provides a method and apparatus for managing communication operations in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. Further the method includes generating, by a first OFDM apparatus (), a signal comprising data and at least one of a Reference Signal (RS) and a message, the signal is generated by repeating the at least one of the RS and the message over a set of OFDM symbols using a resource mapper, performing an Inverse Fourier Transform operation (IFFT) according to a numerology of a first OFDM apparatus, adding a Cyclic Prefix (CP) to the data, and adding a block CP to the at least one of the repeated RS and the message. Further, the method includes transmitting, by the first OFDM apparatus (), the signal to a second OFDM apparatus ().

Method and apparatus for managing communication operations in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system

Embodiments herein provides a method and system for beam steering in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system. The method comprising determining a precoder matrix based on at least one of an inter-antenna element spacing controlled based on a selection of a number of antenna elements at the transmitter and a location of at least one receiver; and steering a transmit beam using the precoder matrix towards the at least one receiver. Yet another embodiments proposes the method and system for steering the at least one optimal receive beam or optimal sub-receive beam towards the at least one transmitter based on at least one of a Channel Quality Indication (CQI), a Channel State Information (CSI), and a location.

Method for beam steering in multiple-input multiple-output system

Embodiments herein provide a method for beam steering in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system. The method includes steering a transmit beam using a precoder matrix determined based on a plurality of parameters, wherein the transmit beam is formed using at least one of a weight of each antenna element, a number of antenna elements, and an inter-antenna element spacing.

Embodiments herein provide a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) method for a communication system in general, and more particularly to an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) based communication system to serve more than one receivers on the same resources. The method includes selecting, by a transmitter, a plurality of precoder matrices for a plurality of receivers from a predefined codebook of precoders, where the plurality of precoder matrices is dynamically cycled within an allocated resource. Further, the method includes transmitting, by the transmitter, a symbol vector precoded with the plurality of precoder matrices over MIMO channel associated with the plurality of receivers.
