The present disclosure envisages a housing (). The housing () has an operative upper compartment () and an operative lower compartment (). A first lid () and a second lid () cover the lower and the upper compartments () respectively. The lid () is openable. A panel () is configured to be inserted between the lower compartment () and the upper compartment () thus forming a partition between the compartments. The housing () of the present disclosure, when utilized for housing data distribution elements and electrical power distribution elements separately in its compartments, provides safe access to the data distribution elements and prevents risk of touching live electrical components.

The present disclosure envisages a mechanism () for indirect access to an actuator () on an apparatus () disposed within a housing (). The mechanism () comprises a bushing (), a spring-loaded shaft (), an arm (), a first stopper () and a pedestal (). The spring-loaded shaft () passes through the bushing () and is configured to reciprocate through the annular passage (). An arm () is disposed within the housing (), and is coupled to the shaft (). The first stopper () is received on the shaft () operatively below the arm (). The pedestal () is disposed between the arm () and the first stopper (). The pedestal () is configured to facilitate abutment of the arm () with the actuator (). The arm () is configured to press the actuator () when the shaft () is linearly displaced.

A locking arrangement for a plurality of toggle switches is provided, which facilitates independent locking and independent actuation of the toggle switches. The locking arrangement restricts the movement of a lever associated with a toggle switch of the plurality of toggle switches so as to maintain the lever of the toggle switch in at least one predetermined position. The locking arrangement is adapted to receive a locking device that restricts the movement of the lever in at least one predetermined position defined by the periphery of a locking plate or a base plate of the locking arrangement.
