Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein relate to schemes for managing an overlap of at least part of a tracking reference signal (TRS) with an uplink subband or a guard band in a subband full duplex (SBFD) slot or symbol. In some examples, if a user equipment (UE) and/or a network entity determines that at least a portion of a TRS is scheduled for reception in an uplink subband or a guard band of an SBFD slot or symbol, the UE and/or the network entity may: drop the TRS, puncture the portion of the TRS that overlaps with the uplink subband or the guard band; or may shift the frequency position of the TRS such that the TRS is scheduled within the downlink subband(s) of the SBFD slot or symbol.

Tracking reference signals in full duplex operation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) linkage indication that is based at least in part on a slot configuration. The UE may receive a first PDCCH in a first PDCCH occasion and a second PDCCH that is a repetition of the first PDCCH in a second PDCCH occasion, the second PDCCH occasion comprising an occurrence of one or more air interface resources configured with the slot configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.

Physical downlink control channel linkage across different slots

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a UE may report channel state feedback (CSF) to a network entity based on channel state information (CSI) measurements and CLI measurements. In another aspect, a UE may explicitly report CLI measurements to a network entity. In yet another aspect, a UE may report a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) to a network entity based on CLI measurements, and the network entity may trigger the UE to perform further CLI measurements on signals received from other UEs based on the SINR. In yet another aspect, a UE may generate a report using CLI measurements based on whether the UE is allocated enough time to generate and transmit the report. In yet another aspect, a UE may identify a suitable priority for reporting CLI to a network entity.

Prioritization and timing for cross-link interference reporting

A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a configuration of a downlink bandwidth part (BWP). The method also includes receiving a frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) in a slot. The FDRA includes a first type of bits corresponding to a downlink allocation within the downlink BWP and a second type of bits corresponding to either a known sequence or repeated bits. The method further includes communicating in accordance with the FDRA.

Scheduling downlink control information (DCI) in sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) slots

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may receive a first message that indicates one or more resource allocation parameters associated with a bandwidth part (BWP). The one or more resource allocation parameters may include an indication of a first available resource block of the BWP, an indication of an effective size of the BWP, or both. The UE may then receive a second message that indicates a resource allocation for communicating with a network entity via the BWP during a transmission time interval (TTI). The UE may then communicate with the network entity during the transmission time interval in accordance with the resource allocation and based on applying the one or more resource allocation parameters.

Adaptation of a first available resource block and resource block group size for full-duplex communications

Systems and techniques are provided for performing wireless communications. In some aspects, a use equipment (UE) may receive a crosslink interference (CLI) training session configuration from a network entity, wherein the CLI training session configuration corresponds to a CLI training session for a plurality of UEs including the UE. The UE may determine a CLI feedback information associated with performing the CLI training session and may transmit the CLI feedback information to the network entity. The CLI feedback information may be indicative of CLI between the UE and one or more additional UEs.

Distributed cross-link interference (CLI) management

Certain aspects relate to techniques for estimating and compensating for antenna array rotation of a wireless node. For example, the antenna array of the wireless node may rotate about one or more of an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis, which may misalign the antenna array relative to another antenna array of another wireless node, causing degradation of communications between the two nodes. In some examples, the wireless node may obtain, from a first antenna array of the other wireless node via a second antenna array of the first wireless node, a first pilot signal and a second pilot signal via a first beam. In some examples, the first wireless node may perform a first alignment compensation based on a phase difference between the first pilot signal and the second pilot signal.

Estimating and compensating antenna array misalignment

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support resource restrictions for sub-band full duplex (SBFD) and dynamic time division duplex (TDD) operations. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, control signaling indicating a restriction to one or more slots associated with communications between the UE and the network entity. Each of the one or more slots may be associated with one or more sub-bands and the restriction may modify an availability of a duplexing setting for at least a portion of the one or more sub-bands. Additionally, the UE may communicate with the network entity via at least a subset of the one or more sub-bands of the one or more slots in accordance with the restriction.

Resource restrictions for sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) and dynamic time division duplex (TDD) operation

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitted may use a closed loop precoder for line-of-sight (LOS) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications that uses information such as distance feedback or LOS MIMO channel state feedback. A closed loop precoder may be associated with less overhead than a precoder based on full channel knowledge, such as an SVD precoder. A receiver may estimate a channel based on channel state information reference signals transmitted by the transmitter and calculate a spectral efficiency for one or more precoders of a set of precoders associated with the channel for a LOS MIMO mode. The receiver may send feedback to the transmitter that indicates a selected precoder of the set of LOS MIMO precoders based on the calculated spectral efficiencies. The transmitter may precode messages using the reported closed loop precoder.

Method and apparatus for codebook design for closed loop operation

This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for full-duplex communications in wireless networks. Some implementations more specifically relate to multiple bandwidth parts (BWPs), active concurrently, for communications in a given direction (such as a downlink (DL) direction or an uplink (UL) direction) between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. For example, a first active BWP may be used for DL or UL communications in a half-duplex (HD) slot and a second active BWP may be used for DL or UL communications in an adjacent full-duplex (FD) slot. In some implementations, the UE may further change a status of one or more active BWPs after a given amount of time has elapsed. For example, the UE may change the states of an active BWP by deactivating the active BWP, switching the active BWP to a default BWP, or changing a role assigned to the active BWP.

Timer-based switching for multiple active bandwidth parts

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may receive a resource allocation for transmitting a transport block (TB) over a set of time slots. The TB may include a set of coded bits. In some aspects, the device may determine starting indexes of subsets of the coded bits, each subset of the coded bits may be for transmission during a respective subset of time slots. In some other aspects, the device may receive a configured grant for a transmission of the TB over the set of time slots. In other aspects, the device may scale a size of the TB based on a first value independent of a second value associated with a number of time slots associated with the set of time slots. The device may transmit the TB over the set of time slots based on one or more of the example aspects.

Transport block transmission over multiple time slots

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for frequency hopping for data channel repetition in full duplex. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving information from, a network entity, scheduling transmission of a plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in one or more slots according to a frequency hopping scheme that configures frequency hops between transmissions of repetitions of the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions and transmitting the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in the one or more slots, the one or more slots comprising at least a full duplex slot including an uplink subband and a downlink subband.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may output a first configuration for a set of resources, the first configuration being associated with a time division duplexing pattern, and the first configuration configuring the set of resources to one of an uplink format, a downlink format, or a flexible format. The network node may output a second configuration configuring one or more resources, of the set of resources, to a sub-band full duplex (SBFD) format based at least in part on the one or more resources satisfying a condition.
