A hand-held power tool, which has a pneumatic impact mechanism with an impact piston that is able to be moved back and forth along a working axis in a guide tube by a pneumatic spring, is characterized in that a cylindrical surface of the impact piston has a plurality of cutouts that are distributed in the circumferential direction, and the cutouts take up at least 30%, at least 50% and/or at least 70% of the circumference of the cylindrical surface of the impact piston.

Hand-held power tool

A power tool for chiseling and drilling includes a housing, a motor disposed inside the housing, and a pneumatic percussion mechanism. An operation mode selector switch is disposed on the housing and has a first operation mode setting and a second operation mode setting where the first operation mode setting activates the pneumatic percussion mechanism and the second operation mode setting deactivates the pneumatic percussion mechanism. A valve has an inlet-port formed inside the guiding tube and an outlet-port formed outside the guiding tube where the valve is connected to the operation mode selector switch. The valve is closed in the first operation mode setting which disables an air exchange between the inlet-port and the outlet-port and the valve is open in the second operation mode setting which enables the air exchange between the inlet-port and the outlet-port.

Power tool

The handheld power tool has a tool receptacle for accommodating a tool on a working axis () and an electric motor (). A pneumatic percussion mechanism () has an exciter, which is moved back-and-forth by the motor () periodically in parallel to the working axis (), a striker (), which is movable on the working axis () and is coupled via a pneumatic spring () to the exciter, and an anvil (), which is situated movably on the working axis () and is situated downstream from the striker () in the percussion direction (). The anvil () has a cylindrical anvil section () having a diameter and multiple channels () extending over the entire length () of the anvil section (). A cross-sectional area of the anvil section () is at most 5% less than a circular area defined by the diameter.

Handheld power tool

A rail has a guide surface on which the locking block is guided in a bearing manner between a position locking the bar, in which the toothed side engages in the toothed long side, and an unlocked position, in which the toothed side is not engaged with the toothed long side. A spring pretensions the locking block into the locking position. The guided side and/or the guide surface have a flank that is inclined with respect to the bar axis such that the locking block is forced in the direction of the bar in the event of a movement along the bar axis.

Side handle

The hand-held power tool has a tool socket, a motor and a pneumatic striking mechanism. The striking mechanism has an exciter driven by the motor along a working axis, a striker coupled to the exciter via an air cushion, and an intermediate striker arranged between the striker and the tool socket in the striking direction. The striking mechanism also has a guide in which the intermediate striker is guided. The guide has a first sliding surface that guides a first section of the intermediate striker, and a second sliding surface that is arranged offset relative to the first sliding surface in the striking direction and that guides a second section of the intermediate striker. A radial dimension of the first section of the intermediate striker is greater than a radial dimension of the second section of the intermediate striker.

A tool receptacle is disclosed. The tool receptacle has a spindle which has a receiving area for receiving a tool and an elongated hole which is open into the receiving area in a radial direction. A barrier element disposed in the elongated hole projects into the receiving area and is movable in the elongated hole. A slider is used for sliding the barrier element to an output-side end of the elongated hole, where the slider is subject to the application of force by a first spring against an insertion direction. A radial limit stop forces the barrier element in the radial direction to engage in the receiving area. The radial limit stop is displaceable to enable a radial movement of the barrier element out of engagement with the receiving area. A second spring applies a spring force to the radial limit stop against the insertion direction.

Tool receptacle

The machine tool according to the with a pneumatic hammer mechanism comprises a motorized exciter, a guiding tube, and a piston-shaped beater. The piston-shaped beater is guided by an interior surface of the guiding tube along an operating axis and with the exciter encloses an air spring in a guiding tube. The beater shows a cup-shaped basic body with an open hollow space facing the exciter and an inset filling the hollow space. The basic body is made from a first material with a first density and the insert is made from a material with a second density, which is lower than the first density.
