In one embodiment, a method includes identifying candidate content associated with a user of a computing device, selecting, from the candidate content, cache content to be stored in cache storage of the computing device for access by the user when the computing device does not have network connectivity, and storing the cache content in the cache storage of the computing device. The cache content may be based on information associated with a user node that represents the user in a social graph. The cache content may include entities liked by the user, friends of the user, and/or entities of interest to the user. The cache content includes web pages accessed by the user and/or web pages referenced by content created by the user. The cache content may include information related to past, current, and/or predicted actions of the user, such as social network posts, travel itineraries, and geographic locations.

Identifying and caching content for offline use

In one embodiment, a method includes inferring an intent of the target user to post to a social-networking system based on one or more information items. One or more information items may be assembled that are relevant to one or more of the information items from which the intent to post was inferred. A prompt to post may be sent to the target user comprising one or more of the assembled information items. One or more indications of one or more reactions of the target user may be received from a client system of the target user. The one or more reactions of the target user may be used in both inferring a future intent to post on the part of future target users and assembling information items for future target users.

Monitoring and motivating health habits

A method of managing adherence to a regimen in a subscription based computer implemented healthcare information environment. The method includes receiving at a mobile device information from a receiver that a dose was ingested by a living subject. The mobile device comprises a processor, a memory and a display coupled to the processor. The method provides wirelessly communicating the information over a wireless network to a backend computer processing system and receiving from the computer at the backend processing system a personal information stream characterizing behavior of the living subject based on the received information over a predetermined period. An apparatus includes an adherence package including a foldable sheet, at least one of blister pack coupled to the foldable sheet, at least one ingestible device associated with a dose, and a perforation provided on the foldable sheet to enable removal of the at the least one blister pack.

Apparatus, system, and method for managing adherence to a regimen

A security element is displayed that provides information to a user to help ensure that they are not confused or misled into believing that content originates from a trusted source when in fact it does not. The security element shows the user the source of the content and is displayed in such a manner that the source of the content is easily viewable. For example, according to one embodiment, the security element is shown within the title bar of a window. The security element may also be temporarily shown. Providing the user with more information about the site being accessed helps them to make an intelligent decision about their browsing experience. The security element includes at least part of a domain name that identifies the source of the content. The security element may also include the entire domain name. For example, the security element may overlay the screen.

Displaying a security element to help detect spoofing

Keyboard entries by users are tracked and filtered to reduce ambiguity in translating the entries to characters and predicting text based on the entries in a multiple keyboard environment. Key tables such as an equivalence table mapping characters to a base character value, a digit mapping table mapping characters to a digit between 0 and 9 are used to determine possible matches in text prediction. A letter accumulator UI is employed along with a number accumulator UI to provide users feedback on tracked letters.

Smart filtering with multiple simultaneous keyboard inputs

Table elements, such as HTML elements, are automatically formatted relative to a change in visual appearance of a displayed decorative panel. The decorative panel comprises a plurality of separate but visually related regions defined by the table elements, and organized in predefined logical relationships to each other. A visual change causes an automatic revision to one or more attributes of the table elements that define the regions affected by the visual change. The visual change and automatic formatting are preferably accomplished with a Web page design tool, which identifies the decorative panel from comments associated with the table elements but do not affect rendering by a conventional browser. Visual properties of the decorative panel are mapped to the attributes, so that when the visual appearance is changed, a corresponding attribute is automatically revised. The resulting revised table elements are validated against predetermined inference rules that define valid patterns of regions.

Integrated decorative panels

A system and method for small computing devices that present a thumbnail image of content such as a web page, allows a viewer to select a region, and zooms in on the selected region in a way that reduces scrolling and helps users to understand the content they are reading. The page is scaled such that a user need only scroll in one dimension to see the content, and is divided into regions. Regions may be arranged as cells of a grid, or arranged by logically-related content. A user navigates among the regions as desired, selects a region from the thumbnail view, and obtains an expanded version of that region. In the expanded view, the region is ordinarily scaled so that the user scrolls in only one dimension to view the content of the region. Browser 'Back' commands are supported, as are frames.

Method and system for improved viewing and navigation of content

A system and method for small computing devices that present a single column of content such as a web page such that a user need only scroll vertically to see the content. A parser converts HTML to CSS as necessary, and a single column style sheet modifies content for a more-optimized viewing experience. To this end, tables and tables cells are rendered as blocks, with no padding/border/margins and any explicit widths and heights changed to automatic. Other table elements are rendered as block level elements, and horizontal margins are eliminated or re-enabled on some elements in a reduced manner. Spacer images are removed, as well as cell background images and small images. Content such as text is wrapped, and images are resized as necessary based on the screen display width. The result is a single content column that facilitates viewing and scrolling in only one direction.
