An approach is provided for using a passenger-based driving profile. The approach involves detecting an identity of a user of a vehicle. The approach also involves retrieving a passenger profile of the user based on the identity. The passenger profile is generated based on sensor data indicating a reaction of the user to at least one vehicle driving behavior previously experienced by the user as a vehicle passenger. The approach further involves configuring the vehicle based on the passenger profile.

Method and apparatus for using a passenger-based driving profile

An approach is provided for generating a passenger-based driving profile. The approach involves collecting vehicle sensor data of a vehicle carrying a user as a passenger. The vehicle sensor data indicates at least one driving behavior of the vehicle. The approach also involves collecting user sensor data, user input data, or a combination thereof indicating a reaction of the user to the at least one driving behavior. The approach further involves including or excluding the at least one driving behavior in a passenger profile for the user based on the reaction of the user.

Method and apparatus for generating a passenger-based driving profile

A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to cause a visual representation of a plurality of objects representative of respective physical structures to be provided with the height of at least one of the objects being modified, thereby visually accentuating the object(s). In regards to a method, one or more objects representative of respective physical structures are identified from among a plurality of objects. The plurality of objects therefore include first object(s) that were identified and second object(s) that were not identified. Each object has an associated height. The method may also modify the height associated with at least one of the objects such that a height differential between the first objects and the second objects is altered. The method may also cause a visual representation of the plurality of objects to be provided with at least one of the objects having a modified height.
