A low-profile, pivotable backshell adapter assembly having flexible arms that are independently adjustable to various angles for providing strain relief to cable bundles of different sizes. The flexible arms are spring-locked into position and are adjustable without the use of tools or the removal of components. And the flexible arms apply equal inward centering force on opposing sides of an accommodated cable.

Connector with spring-locked swing arms

A connector assembly comprises front and rear connector bodies, a wire grommet with wire passages, and a nut. Tightening the nut forces a rearward portion of the grommet into a tapered segment of a passage through the rear connector body and a forward portion of the rear connector body into a front passage of the front connector body, thereby radially compressing the grommet and sealing the wires passing therethrough.

Sealed electrical connector assembly

A connector assembly comprises front and rear connector bodies, a wire grommet with wire passages, and a nut. Tightening the nut forces a rearward portion of the grommet into a tapered segment of a passage through the rear connector body, thereby radially compressing the grommet and sealing the wires passing therethrough.
