An audio augmentation system includes a memory and one or more processors that obtain a first audio stream generated by a first remote audio input device and a second audio stream generated by a second remote audio input device. The first and second audio streams are tagged with respective first and second source information. The processors assign the first audio stream to a first output setting based on the first source information, and assign the second audio stream to a different, second output setting based on the second source information. The processors control an audio output device to audibly emit the first audio stream according to the first output setting and the second audio stream according to the second output setting to acoustically differentiate the first audio stream from the second audio stream, independent of content of the first and second audio streams.

Controlling video data content using computer vision

Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for casting content based on device capabilities. An apparatus includes a processor and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The code is executable by the processor to receive a request to cast content from a first device to a second device, determine capabilities for one or more second devices that are communicatively coupled to the first device over a data network, and select a second device of the one or more second devices to cast the content to based on the content to be casted and the capabilities of the second device.

Strengthening prediction confidence and command priority using natural user interface (NUI) inputs

A device can include a processor; memory accessible to the processor; a microphone operatively coupled to the processor; a network interface operatively coupled to the processor; circuitry that parses audio signals received via the microphone for a name and a type of device; circuitry that analyzes network information associated with remote devices accessible via the network interface based at least in part on at least one of the name and the type of device to associate the name and the type of device with one of the remote devices; and circuitry that stores the name and the type of device to the memory in association with the one of the remote devices.

Natural language connectivity

An approach is provided that uses an array of LEDs to illuminate for digital image capturing. A system that includes a processor, a memory accessible by the processor, a digital camera accessible by the processor, a display screen accessible by the processor, and an array of a plurality of LEDs surrounding the display screen, where the array of LEDs is also accessible by the processor. Preferred image quality attributes are retrieved. Then a setting of a set of LEDs is made to a lighting attribute, such as color or brightness. Afterwards, the an image of a subject illuminated by the plurality of LEDs is captured and attributes of this image are compared to the preferred image quality attributes. Based on the comparison, the approach then adjusts the attributes of the set of LEDs.
