The system has at least two cylinders, with plungers therein, oppositely disposed from each other and configured to operably connect to a pump.

Tamper evident closure container

An improved system and method for a syringe capable of reducing re-usage and limiting wasted contents. The syringe has a plunger with a plunger plug that extends beyond the barrel of the syringe when the contents are fully dispensed and prevents the plunger from being drawn backward. The plunger may also consist of a two-piece design that separates upon exceeding a predetermined force when attempting to draw the plunger backward after use.

Systems and methods related to syringes

An oral dosing syringe assembly comprises a syringe barrel comprising an inner chamber filled or adapted to be filled with medicament, and a channel in fluid communication with the chamber and through which medicament is dispensed. The assembly further comprises an end cap configured to be removably attached to the syringe barrel, characterised in that the barrel comprises an internal threaded section which mutually engages with a threaded section or the end cap to thereby create a seal, which prevents the flow of medicament therethrough.

Syringe assembly

A syringe assembly () comprises a syringe barrel () comprising an inner chamber () filled or adapted to be filled with medicament, and a channel () in fluid communication with the chamber and through which medicament is dispensed. The assembly further comprises an outer sheath () configured to be removably attached to the syringe barrel, and comprising a projection () which is received by the channel when the outer sheath is attached to the barrel, thereby creating a seal, which prevents medicament from flowing therethrough.

A method and device for delivering medicament such as for ameliorating pain in a patient from an injector superiorly and/or laterally and/or anteriorly towards the sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG). A device for delivering a medicament to a patient in need thereof includes (a) an injector containing a first end configured to remain outside a nasal passage of the patient and a second end configured for entry into the nasal passage of the patient; and (b) an introducer configured for engagement with a nostril of the patient and containing a passageway configured for slidably receiving the injector. The injector is moveable between a storage position preceding the engagement and an engaging position pursuant to the engagement. The device may further include a locking connection assembly that is useful in other devices.

Devices for delivering a medicament and connector for same

A valve assembly includes a valve housing defining a metering chamber and an elongated stem. The stem is axially movable with respect to the valve housing for dispensing liquid and is rotatable for adjusting the length of the stroke of a piston to thereby select the volume of liquid dispensed with each actuation of the stem. A sliding float member is fitted around the stem within the chamber and is axially slidable with respect to the stem but is locked for rotation with the stem. The lower surface of the sliding float is locked for axial movement with the piston but is independently rotatable with respect to the piston. A pair of spaced poles extends parallel to the axis of the float and engages vaginations in a surface of the housing to thereby limit the length of the stroke of the piston. The poles of the float and the complementary pairs of vaginations in the housing are angularly spaced a distance of less than 180 degrees.
