A product applicator assembly includes a handle, an applicator, and a product dispensing assembly. The product dispensing assembly is disposed at least in part within the handle and stores a liquid product within a product container. A puncturing device within the product dispensing assembly has a base and a puncture element extending from the base toward the product container. The puncturing device further includes a mating member extending from the base and secured to the product container. The puncture element facilitates rupturing the product container to release a portion of the liquid product into the applicator.

In an example embodiment, a product applicator assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a housing having a porous portion. The housing defines a hollow interior bounded at least in part by the porous portion. The assembly further comprises a sealed product container positioned within the hollow interior. The product container contains a spreadable product therein. The housing is at least partially compressible. At least a portion of the housing causes the sealed product container to burst and to release at least a portion of the spreadable product into the porous portion of the housing.

An air freshener is configured to be carried by a power outlet of an automobile. The air freshener includes a scent capsule disposed in a housing. A heat source is disposed in the housing adjacent and opposing a permeable membrane of the scent capsule. The heat source is configured to heat the fragrant material in the scent capsule and accelerate permeation of the fragrant material through the permeable membrane of the sent capsule. A hatch is pivotally coupled to the housing and substantially contained within a hatch cavity with an outer surface that is substantially flush with an exterior of the housing in a closed position, The hatch can include a capsule cavity therein. carrying the scent capsule, and facing an interior of the housing in the closed position.

An air freshener is configured to be carried by a power outlet of an automobile. The air freshener includes a scent capsule disposed in a housing. An air freshener comprises a flexible strand formed of polymer and having a solid consistency. The strand is elongated and has a length greater than a diameter. The strand is flexible to bend under a weight of the strand. A desired fragrant material, different from the polymer, has a desired fragrance and is interspersed within the polymer of the strand. The strand can be coupled to and carried by the carrier. The carrier can be rigid. A talisman can be coupled to and carried by the carrier.

An air freshener includes a pair of wicks extending from a pair of reservoirs configured to contain different scents. A hood is sized and shaped to essentially cover only one of the at least two wicks and movable with respect to the wicks between a first scent position in which the hood essentially covers a second of the at least two wicks, a second scent position in which the hood essentially covers a first of the at least two wicks, and a plurality of combined scent positions in which the hood partially covers both of the at least two wicks.

An air freshener device includes a rigid body or insert having a front face with a protrusion, a rear opposite the front face with a cavity corresponding to the protrusion, and an annular perimeter lip circumscribing the front face. A scent material is interspersed within the body. A flexible cover or shell extends across the rear of the body and covers the cavity, and has an inward facing annular groove surrounding and receiving the annular perimeter lip.

An air freshener has a vent rod and a scent material carried by the vent rod. A head is pivotally coupled to the vent rod. A hinge is between the head and the vent rod including an axel in an aperture. A plurality of petals is coupled to the head and pivotal with the head with respect to the vent rod.

An air freshener includes a housing with a stem and a head with a cavity therein. An air displacement mechanism is carried by the housing and includes a rotatable fan carried by the head, and a motor coupled to the fan to rotate the fan. A scent capsule is removably carried by the head and has a chamber containing a fragrant material and a permeable membrane through which a fragrance of the fragrant material can permeate over time. The permeable membrane is located adjacent the fan.

An air freshener device has a chamber containing a fragrant material pivotal with respect to a back opening in the a plate. A perimeter notch is formed in an intermediate brace and a front dial plate so that a scale on the back plate is visible. A single cartridge has a pair of scent chambers coupled together and disposed adjacent one another in a side-by-side relationship, and formed as a pair of separate and discrete vessels in a plastic sheet separated by a divider and covered by a permeable membrane. Each of the pair of vessels contains a fragrant material with a fragrance that can permeate through the permeable membrane over time.
