Exemplary implementations may: register a user of a messaging platform with an external network; associate the user with an identifier of the external network; configure an adapter to receive notifications from the identifier of the external network via a subscription; and receive, via the adapter at the messaging platform, the notifications addressed to the identifier of the external network based on the subscription.

Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe proactive detection and notification of a potential loss of connectivity during an electronic collaborative communication. Subsequently, a state of the electronic collaborative communication is managed to improve, among other technical advantages, processing efficiency of associated computing devices and users involved in the electronic collaborative communication. A quality of a network feed for a participant in an electronic collaborative communication is identified and analyzed to generate a warning of potential loss of connectivity. A state of an electronic collaborative communication is managed relative to a continued quality evaluation of said network feed. For example, a network feed may be placed on hold and/or a communication suspended due to potential connectivity issues. A representation of a video feed may be updated and/or a communication resumed when a quality of that video feed is determined to satisfy a pre-selected quality threshold.

Proactively determining and managing potential loss of connectivity in an electronic collaborative communication

Methods, systems, and storage media for providing interoperability for advanced messaging features between RCS and proprietary messaging platforms are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: register a user of a messaging platform with an external network; associate the user with an identifier of the external network; configure an adapter to receive notifications from the identifier of the external network via a subscription; and receive, via the adapter at the messaging platform, the notifications addressed to the identifier of the external network based on the subscription.

A method including receiving, from a non-participant, a request to access a chat group at a voice call number, the chat group including multiple participants is provided. The method includes providing a list of the participants to the non-participant, so that the non-participant may select to talk to a first participant from the list of the participants, receiving a call, from the non-participant to the first participant, at the voice call number via a voice communication channel, and initiating a voice data transfer between the first participant and the non-participant through the voice communication channel. A system and a non-transitory, computer readable medium storing instructions to cause the system to execute the above method are also provided.

Advanced telephony functionality for chat groups in a communication platform

Methods and systems for intelligently routing an incoming call are provided. An automatic call distribution system may include a call flow service that receives incoming calls, and a separate weighted-bid call distribution service. The call flow service can request a recommended recipient for each incoming call from the weighted-bid call distribution service. The weighted-bid call distribution service identifies a recommended recipient for each incoming call by generating a priority weight for that call, one or more relevance weights that indicate the relevance of one or more potential recipients to that call, and an availability weight for one or more potential recipients with high relevancy weights. The weighted-bid call distribution service identifies a recommended recipient by comparing a combination of the priority weight for the call and the relevancy weights for the high relevancy recipients to the availability weight for those recipients.

Systems and methods for routing incoming calls

Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for meeting room control. The method includes receiving, through a mobile device of a user, a request to access a meeting, the meeting comprising one or more meetings. The method also includes receiving, from the mobile device of the user, a request to toggle a control mode for the meeting, the control mode comprising an interface for the meeting, the interface displayed through the mobile device. The method also includes receiving instructions regarding controlling functions of the meeting through the interface on the mobile device, the functions comprising at least one of muting all meeting participants, promoting a speaker, recording the meeting, sharing the meeting, or transferring the meeting. The method also includes applying the instructions to the functions of the meeting.

A method for originating and terminating services in a unified communication platform is provided. The method includes receiving, from a local market intermediate carrier, a request for a communication between a subscriber of a public network and an end-user endpoint in a local network, associated with an end-user phone number. The method includes creating a lease for an address anchor in a pool of addresses, receiving, in a proxy server from a carrier gateway server, a communication request from the end-user phone number to the address anchor, and establishing a communication channel to the address anchor. The method includes replacing, in the communication channel, a 'from' header with a phone number of the subscriber of the public network, and a 'to' header with the end-user phone number. A system and a non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions to perform the above method are also provided.

The method includes matching a user with contact details comprising at least one of name, email address, phone number, user ID, and/or enterprise of the user. The method also includes verifying an identity of the user when a confidence score exceeds a predetermined threshold. The method also includes searching calendar data for a meeting involving the user based on the contact details of the user, the meeting scheduled proximate to a local time of the user. The method also includes joining the user to the meeting via an audio conferencing service based on the calendar data.

Methods and systems for intelligently joining a conference are provided. The method includes initiating a connection for a user to an audio conferencing service, such as through an alert or notification. The method also includes matching the user with contact details including user's name, email address, phone number, user ID, and/or enterprise. The method also includes determining a confidence score based on matching the user with the contact details to verify an identity of the user when the confidence score exceeds a predetermined threshold. The method also includes searching calendar data for a meeting involving the user based on the contact details of the user, the meeting being scheduled proximate to a current time, the calendar data having a scheduled start time and a scheduled end time for the meeting. The method also includes joining the user to the meeting via the audio conferencing service based on the calendar data.
