Vehicle vent patches

Vent patch systems are provided for motor vehicles. The vent patch systems may be configured for ultrasonically cleaning a vent patch of a vehicle component, thereby preserving/restoring air circulation through the vehicle component and reducing condensation build-up. An exemplary vent patch system may include a vent patch and an ultrasonic device. The ultrasonic device can be controlled to induce movement (e.g., vibration) of the vent patch in order to remove dirt and other debris that could otherwise inhibit proper air circulation through the vehicle component.

A vehicle cargo storage system configured to be located in a floor of a vehicle is provided. The vehicle cargo storage system includes a chamber configured to extend into and below the floor of the vehicle, and a cargo holding structure configured to hold one or more cargo items and configured to move between a stowed position within the chamber and a deployed position outside the chamber. The vehicle cargo system also including a cover to a pivot mechanism to pivot the cover between a first closed position covering the one or more cargo items in the chamber and a second position to expose the one or more cargo items outside the chamber, and a locking mechanism configured to be actuated to lock the cover in the first closed position.

A vehicle console system includes a body having first and second sidewalls. Each of the first and second sidewalls defines a rail along an inner surface thereof. A support bar slidably engages the rails. The support bar defines a track. A cover assembly is operably coupled to the support bar. The cover assembly is configured to translate along a first movement path with the support bar along the rails and a second movement path along the track of the support bar. The controller is configured to create a group of vehicles using wireless messaging, via the wireless transceiver, between the vehicle and one or more other vehicles, and instruct the group of vehicles to collectively light an area using exterior lights of a plurality of the group of vehicles.
