Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set that includes a first SRS resource associated with a first SRS resource indicator (SRI) and a first antenna of the UE, and a second SRS resource associated with a second SRI and a second antenna of the UE. The UE may receive first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a first uplink communication on a first uplink channel, wherein the first DCI indicates the first SRI. The UE may transmit, using the first antenna, the first uplink communication using a transmit power that is based at least in part on a weighted average of a first pathloss associated with the first antenna and a second pathloss associated with the second antenna. Power control for sounding reference signal resource indicator based antenna selection

The techniques described herein may provide for sub-slot based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition (i.e., back-to-back PUSCH repetition within a slot) according to user equipment (UE) capability. A UE may employ uplink data repetition capability reporting for base station scheduling of uplink data repetition and base station management of the number of transport blocks (TBs) that a UE supports (e.g., processes and transmits for uplink) on a per-slot basis. According to the techniques described herein, a UE may indicate whether it supports mini-slot repetition (e.g., for ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), or both) via an uplink data repetition capability report. The uplink data repetition capability report may further indicate a maximum number of supported repetitions per TB, a number of supported TBs per slot, etc., such that a base station may configure or schedule PUSCH repetition based on the UE's reported capability.

Capability signaling for physical uplink shared channel repetition

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for providing improved power efficiency during DRX wake-up are disclosed. An example method of wireless communication at a UE includes receiving a WUS from a base station while performing a DRX cycle, the WUS indicating data for transmission to the UE. The example method also includes at least one receiving a downlink reference signal or transmitting an uplink reference signal based on the WUS and prior to reception of the data, the uplink reference signal transmitted or the downlink reference signal received during an on-duration of the DRX cycle and in response to receiving the WUS. The example method also includes sending a CSI report to the base station based on the WUS and prior to the receiving of the data. The example method also includes receiving the data following the respective receiving or transmitting of the downlink reference signal or uplink reference signal.

Methods and apparatus to facilitate wake-up signaling during discontinuous reception

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit assistance information to a base station to request an update or a modification to one or more communication parameters configured at the UE. Such communication parameters may include a quantity of uplink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers, a quantity of downlink MIMO layers, a minimum scheduling offset, a maximum quantity of component carriers, or a maximum aggregated bandwidth for a secondary cell group (SCG). In some implementations, the UE may transmit the assistance information requesting the update or modification to one or more of such communication parameters based on detecting that the UE satisfies one or more triggering conditions or thresholds.

Techniques for providing assistance information for reduced MIMO layers

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determining a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission characteristic, wherein the PUCCH transmission characteristic is a quantity of PUCCH transmissions in a sub-slot or a format of a set of PUCCH transmissions in the sub-slot, and wherein the wireless communication device supports at least one sub-slot hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) codebook; and reporting information identifying the PUCCH characteristic for a plurality of types of symbol codebooks. Physical uplink control channel transmission for low latency communication deployments

A base station may perform interleaving of parts of a plurality of transport blocks for a broadcast or multicast transmission across a plurality of time intervals. A size of a transport block of the plurality of transport blocks may be scaled by a scaling factor. The base station may transmit the interleaved parts in the plurality of time intervals.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for receive chain selection at a user equipment (UE) with efficient switching between a reduced number of receive chains and an increased number of receive chains for downlink communications based on conditions at the UE. A UE may adaptively adjust the number of active receive chains based on downlink grant activity, channel conditions, network parameters, or any combinations thereof. An estimator block at the UE may determine to adjust the number of receive chains based on a number of downlink grants within one or more time periods. In some cases, grants for an amount of data that exceeds a threshold may be qualified in order to be counted at the estimation block. Further, a transient state may be provided where the UE may maintain a higher number of active receive chains until UE feedback is provided.

Receive diversity techniques in wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one example, a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) includes determining one or more performance metrics related to communications over a wireless channel and comparing the one or more performance metrics with a performance level for the communications over the wireless channel. The method may include selecting a power mode for the UE based at least in part on the comparing and determining an operating state of a subset of a plurality of radio frequency front end elements of at least one active radio frequency chain of the UE based at least in part on the power mode and a priority of the one or more performance metrics. The method may also include adjusting the subset of the plurality of radio frequency front end elements based at least in part on the operating state.

Techniques for adaptive power mode control

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, for a master cell group and a secondary cell group used for a dual connectivity mode of the UE, information indicating physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capability values for one or more of span-based monitoring or a combination of slot-based monitoring and span-based monitoring. The UE may receive, from the base station, PDCCH monitoring configuration values for the MCG and the SCG based at least in part on the PDCCH monitoring capability values. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for antenna selection at a user equipment (UE). The UE may have a set of available antennas for uplink and downlink communications, and may select a first subset of antennas for uplink communications and a second subset of antennas for downlink communications. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication that the UE is capable of supporting one or more channels of a first priority and one or more channels of a second priority, where the first priority is higher than the second. The UE may receive signaling indicating a search space set in a control-resource set (CORESET) that corresponds to grant candidates for scheduling the one or more channels of the first priority. The UE may determine a second search space set in the CORESET that corresponds to grant candidates for scheduling the one or more channels of the second priority.
