A chain link for antiskid chains of vehicle tires, which is provided in order to improve the grip properties, in particular on a smooth underlying surface, with one or more spike(s) which project on one of its sides. Each spike has, perpendicular to its longitudinal extent, a cross-section whose outer edge has a corrugated peripheral contour of successive troughs and peaks.

An eye bolt, comprising a lifting eye and a supporting bolt, wherein the supporting bolt sits, rotatable, in an insertion opening of the lifting eye and comprises, a threaded shaft and a bolt head. The supporting bolt protrudes radially from the lifting eye and is supported by an underside of the lifting eye, on a bearing surface formed on the lifting eye and running around the insertion opening. The eye bolt further comprises at least one locking member which can be brought into engagement with the bolt head and by means of which, in a locking position of same, the bolt head can be rotationally blocked vis-&#xe0;-vis the lifting eye. The at least one locking member is further attached to the lifting eye radially next to the bolt head and is secured there, wherein the at least one locking member can be brought into a starting position, in which it is not engaged with the bolt head, and also into the locking position rotationally blocking the supporting bolt relative to the lifting eye.

Eye bolt

The invention relates to a chain link for an anti-skid chain for vehicle tires, whereby protruding studs arranged on the chain link, and at least one stud is arranged on the lengthwise side of the chain link and the longitudinal central axis of the stud is inclined with respect to the central plane of the chain link. The chain link is thus implemented as either a drawn, milled or forged chain link. The invention further relates to an anti-skid chain that exhibits chain links according to the invention.

Track link for anti-skid chain

In an anti-skid chain with a continuous chain mesh with track crosses and a side cable fitted on a tire side when mounted, e.g. an outer side cable fitted on the outer side of the tire, as well as a tension cable fitted on the other tire side, e.g. an inner cable lying on the inner side of the tire, there are connecting elements on the tension cable, into each of which either a hook connecting the tension cable with at least one track cross or chain parts of the continuous chain mesh are directly hooked, and which are clamped on a sheathing of the tension cable secured against slippage. At least one protrusion for fixing or clamping a sheathing of the tension cable can additionally by provided on an inner surface of the connecting elements facing towards the tension cable.

Anti-skid chain

A turnbuckle for an anti-skid chain that can be mounted on the wheel of a vehicle. A tension cable is connected inside the turnbuckle housing to a winding roll that is pre-stressed in the winding-up direction and mounted so that it can be rotated about its axle. A ratchet wheel with at least one ratchet catch allocated to it is provided on the winding roll and the tension cable can be blocked against its direction of tension by gripping of the ratchet catch into the ratchet wheel. The ratchet catch is moved at least incrementally outwards from the idle position when the wheel isn't moving, in which it is disengaged from the ratchet wheel and the tension cable is not blocked, under the action of the centrifugal force upon rotation of the wheel, and this movement effects a gripping of the ratchet catch into the ratchet wheel.
