Robert George Bryant, born on April 30, 1962, is a NASA chemist and an inductee into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. His groundbreaking invention is LaRC-SI (Langley Research Center-Soluble Imide), a polymer used as insulation material for leads in implantable cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices.
