Tracking Hyperlocal Prolific Inventors in a Global Economy

When one googles “prolific inventors”, a list of global inventors is shown. There is no known list of prolific inventors within world cities. So, we decided to build one, and IDiyas.com was born. This site is built to celebrate inventors and their ideas.

A select few ever get the recognition that they deserve. A vast majority of inventors end up being faceless and voiceless. These inventors are encouraged to seek podium standings (#1, #2, #3) within their geographies. IDiyas offers an easy way to visualize inventors’ stack rank with others (by volume, by specialty, by quality, or by geography).

There is no widely recognized community where inventors can learn from one another and advance the collective intellectual property of the world. IDiyas aims to be this golden source of discovery to find subject matter experts (SMEs), to understand the vector movement and momentum in inventor communities.

This site aims to foster collaboration between inventors. Today, they have no nexus where they can learn, socialize, network or partner. When two or more inventors start to collaborate, many more innovations are born. IDiyas wants to build an engaging forum for inventors to vet ideas, trends, and commercialization in a safe, trusted environment.

Here’s some data from ~17 years of utility patents data from the USPTO (as of 9/20/2022):

  • To be on the Top Global 1000 inventors list, the minimum entry is 185 Patents.
  • To be on the Top Global 500 inventors list, the minimum entry is 253 Patents.
  • To be on the Top Global 100 inventors list, the minimum entry is 511 Patents.

Please visit our site and provide us with your collective feedback on how we can make this site better.
