Congratulations to Sarabjit Rakshit for joining the 1000 Utility Patents club on January 31, 2023. He becomes our 23rd inductee in our Global 1000 Utility Patent database.

Mr. Rakshit is a Cybersecurity architect and Master Inventor with IBM. He not only holds the top spot of prolific inventors currently residing in India, but also the record of the highest number of patents issued to an Indian in a single year, 163 patents in 2019. His first patent was awarded in 2013 and was on a graphic query suggestion apparatus.

Mr. Rakshit completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 1997.
