Samsung likely to top IBM in 2022 for issued patents
As of July 5, 2022 Samsung has 3,535 issued patents, compared to IBM’s 2,541 issued patents. Samsung’s been the #2 Assignee since 2009. The last time that Samsung took the #1 spot was in 2008 when it topped IBM.
